So I've had just enough beer and smoke in the garage looking at my setup thinking. Is anybody as redneck as me? I use an 1/8" x 6" allen wrench as my poker and a 3/16" x 3" as my tamp for a glass one hitter. I remember having a homie back in the day.. little gangster on an aluminum rod But I've since succumbed to redneck ways..

I use gold deck screws to tamp. Toothpicks, random wire objects, whatever is laying around to poke.

I use a tapered shank drill bit for my poking and tamping needs.

You can also twist a good one with that as a mandrel.
