why did you put lime in the soil? most potting soil is pretty neutral to begin with , putting lime has raised the ph of the soil
O i did not know that I was under the impression that lime acted as a ph buffer so i added it with the thought that later i was going to add the bloom booster and i might need it

ok and now finally on to the sickly lowryders i have given them both half concentrations of the bloom booster because i heard this strain burns easily and they seem to also be rebounding from whatever problems were troubling themso i guess the problem was a nutrient deffeciency but there were so many other variables that who knows
and then the last pic in the set is of another lowryder that is experiencing some of the minor leave tip curling
again if anyone could help in identifying any of these problems please pour your knowledge on to this journal its terribly underwatered in that sense

maybe a nutrient lock due to a messed up ph. get a cheap ph meter and test the soil. it should be right around 6.

cool thanks man do you know if you can test ph of soil with the ph paper found in like a normal college lab its ussually used to test the ph of a solution im not really sure how you would test the soil i just dont have the money for a ph meter right now

ya can take the ph of the soil with those things i did it in the stoopid preservation conservation class i took, take some soil and put it sepperate in a baggy and add water to it, mix well, let sit and then drain the liquid and use those strips for the runoff...it wont be as accurate as those machines but neither are those strips...but the run off will have the same ph as the soil.
noice grow though!! :)

alright been a little bit but a couple changes first rearanged the space so every thing is on the floor. Took out the thai stick sprouts that arnt really sprouts anymore and transplanted one of them into a huge pot it was kinda rootbound put those in another closet with blue spectrum cfls to veg for a bit. So the closet with the rest of the plants has got 4 42 red spec cfls and the 55 daywatt sunlamp thing. Also switched the light cycle to 12 12 so the big NL can flower. Some of the plants are starten to develop sex. So far one confirmed female actually the nicest healthiest plant and one suspected male. Cant really tell yet if its forming little pollen sacks or its just a calyx that the pistil is gonna come out of. Either way prob see soon gunna try to get some more pics up tomoro good stuff good stuff really exited never been this far on a grow. The other attempt was rudely interupted by authority officials but to no avail had to flush a couple sprouts tho
the man sleeps in a hole on the road remembers if ya get it
anyway hope everyone elses grows are doin good feel free to post some picks up here if ya got some nice shots of these strains or any others for that matter we need some more conversation here
peace

Well mean mr mustard they are sexed and indeed flowering it has been a bit since an update ive been real busy and went away for a bit but things are lookin good pulled two males yesterday leaving 4 lowryders and a thai stick two of the lowryders are deffinetly females the other two and the thai stick have yet to show. Also have the other thai stick transplanted and veging under some cfls for a little bit before i thow em inter the flowering room. Also have one old plant that i adopted as a sprout and never had room to transplanted. So the thing has been in shitty soil in a solo cup for like a month and a half and has been in the flowering room for like two weeks and today finnally had an extra pot so i transplanted it. Its pretty small but who knows might get a little banzai bud or somethin. But got some pics to put up. Just got to go find the camera and ill put em up.
