All was well, Then i went on vacation

As the title says, I've had minimal issues this grow (Asides from some beginner mistakes like using cheap potting soil) until i left for vacation and had the roommate water the plants.

I was only got for 5 days. The roommate watered them with just pH of 6 - 6.5. and now the plants have a few different issues.

I figured the yellowing was just nitrogen deficiency, which this late into the plants growth shouldn't be a big deal (plant 1) but the plant started to get spots on the middle leaves as well as Plant 3. Plant 2 seems to have had the veins turn a copper color and they have began splitting.

I gave them nutrients the day before I left. I normally feed them every 3rd day. So at that rate, i was only 2 days late on their next feed. Is this really how fast they start to go or is something else happening?

For one thing I see foxtailing. Plants 1&3. I don’t see much yellowing. It is probably overdosed on nutrients. Especially nitrogen.

Underwatered and underfed. You can see leaves cannibalizing themselves and bad droop from bottom up

I feed every watering. If I miss a feed shit goes south. Sounds like you were already treading on the threshold of underfeeding before you left. You should have left a premix of nutes for your room mate to use.
Thank you! ill try that on my next grow. Most information I've seen has recommended feed on every 2nd or 3rd watering with soil, but it clearly wasn't working lol

Well FWIW I feed freshly potted rooted clones at 1000 PPM every watering, I feed plants in flower around 1200 - 1300 PPM every watering. I am using a peat based soiless mix, Berger BM6 HP, it is similar to Promix HP or Sunshine 4 but I like the Berger better and it's a little cheaper. The 6 in the BM6 is for a pH of about 6. I had problems with Sunshine pH, it was fine for years then it went up, I heard they changed who they got their peat moss from. Before the Sunshine I used Promix HP but I kept getting bugs in the bags of soil, no bueno.

Your feed strength will depend on your grow, I am pushing them with CO2 and elevated temps and I use RO water. It takes some trial and error to figure out what works for you. Some people have good luck with the feed, water, feed, water... I just never had luck with that, the plain water just starved them.
