All Anesia Seeds grow

Just dropped seeds so its time for a new journal. This time it will be an all Anesia Seeds grow. Captain Future, Bola Mintz, Slurricane, Blackberry Moonrocks, Hyperglue and the tasty Yuhbary. The last grow I used open racking but just got a new AC Infinity 5 x 5 and new lighting so Im really looking to share this one while learning more about using the tent and adjusting to a new light while trying to make less mistakes than last time. First photo 2 days after dry seeds dropped into Rapid Rooters. Already 5 sprouting. Hopefully I can get all 12 to break dirt within a few more days. 20210916_145157.jpg

Day 7 a couple of strange-looking sprouts. Impressed that 4 sprouted in two days three more the next. Only one of the Bolas' came up and it looks really stunted. One of the Slurricane has enormous cotyledon with the first leaf very tiny (the other Slurricane looks great)And hasnt gotten any bigger the last couple days. So far neither of the Cap Future have broke soil (very tiny seeds) Opened up the rapid rooters and inspected the seeds all but one has popped. Only that little Bola came up from those I tore open so far. "May have drowned them" Went ahead and moved everything growing out of the strater tray and dropped a couple more into rapid rooters and put on heat mat. I had 100% with the Rapid Rooters last time without the heat mat. Not doing so good this time. The ones that just got moved from starter tray already getting larger. still concerned over the Bola Mintz and Captain Future as these two were my most wanted.

Day 11 from seed. Was a little disappointed with the rate of seeds that popped this time but of the ones that did they looks very strong with thick healthy stems and vigorous leaf growth. The Bola Mintz was a late pop so its almost a week behind. And one of the two Yuhbary (I said Slurricane in above post) is pretty strange with all twisted leaves. I have a close up picture and most would probably just pitch it but Im more interested in see what this strange duck will do so as long as it grows I will provide for its needs. The other Yuhbary is absolutely beautiful. I had a good result with Rapid Rooters on the last grow 100% but this time it was only 60% so I may go back to the tried and true towel method.

Hyper Glue, Blackberry Moonrocks, Yuhbary with 2 Slurricane below

Day 16
Have tent mostly setup. Light hung but need to hang filter and fan and the temp/humidity control unit. Went ahead and moved the seedlings under the big light. Still leaving them at 24 hours until I transplant them at 21 days. Buts its really cool to see the noticeable changes under a big light in 24 hours. The Hyper Glue is an inch taller than the others. The twisted up Yuhbary is straightening out and the Boca Mintz that was almost a week behind is catching up to its brothers. With the Rapid Rooters not giving the germination rate that I wanted on Captain Future and Boca Mintz. I dont understand why when they were all planted together and the other 4 strains came up 100%. 0 of 4 Captain Futures came up in the Rapid Rooters and 1 of 2 Boca Mintz came up in the Rapid Rooters. The Yuhbary, Blackberry Moonrocks, Slurricane and Hyper Glue all had a 100 germ rate with the Rapid Rooters. Went back to the soak and towel method and 1 of the 2 Captain Futures popped with a nice tap root (the other has started to open) so dropped the one in soil tonight and hopefully will see it poke its head out in a couple of days. Friday I will transplant the seedlings into their final homes in 5 gallon fabric pots. Soil is all Roots Organic Original and Nutes are likewise all Roots Organics. Lighting is currently an Aglex 400W 4 bar fixture that I used on last grow. I have a brand new 650w 6 bar light but its missing a part and 100% worthless for now. I dont even want to go there right now and screw up my buzz. Im not happy about it and fixing a supplier mistake/screwup and all of a sudden they dont understand english anymore. 20211004_193333.jpg20211004_193357.jpg20211004_193514.jpg20210930_120900.jpg20210930_121316.jpg20211004_193333.jpg20211004_193357.jpg20211004_193514.jpg

3rd week update. Transplanted into final homes. Still havent finished setting up the tent yet but plan on changing out lighting as soon as a part arrives for a new light I have just collecting dust :( Very pleased with the nice thick growth on these young plants that I ordered from chosen seeds. Still watching my genetic Yuhbary freak. while the sister plant is thriving this plant has stretched a little and hit a stopping point with 6 leaves and no vertical growth from it in the last week. I probably should have pitched her but Im watching and learning something I have never seen. If the stem stops here and I believe it has Im going to top it down to the 2nd node where there is some small growth from that node and see if anything will happen from there before trashing her. 21-2.jpg21-1.jpg21-3.jpg21-4.jpg

Nice selection! Have u tried their sour apple by chance?
No I havent. But I have looked at Sour Apple many times salivating over all the choices of premium seeds chosenseeds.com has specifically from Anesia. Im looking forward to again doing another single seedbank grow after this one. Maybe an All Anesia Grow 2. Maybe Sour Apple will make it into the next lineup :weed:

Wednesday Day 30. Girls have been given a couple light feedings and have really produced nice new growth from the topping last week. Still only running 80% on the light. Topped 5 of them and FIM'd 1 (Bola Mintz) I May have cut her a little short as the new growth doesnt look like the last one I FIM'd (bottom right) Going to bump up to 100% and increase the feeding ration this week.

My little twisted-up genetic Yuhbary freak is starting to get a little motivated since she has a larger home and tasty food. Glad I didnt cull her as Im convinced she will produce some sweet bud. Considering the strain that is for sure..... just probably not alot of it. I was convinced at about day 14 that she wasnt going to grow any more and was done. but she proved me wrong. Tough little plant to rebound and live from such a deformity. Im gonna leave her uncut and just let her do her thing. (Side by side photo with her healthy sister plant) Didnt take any new photos of her today.

Finally got the new Cloudlab 5 x 5 tent all squared away. Except for the light. Current light is a Aglex M400w 4-bar and has a 5 x 5.5 footprint that I used on last grow. Should get the new LNLED 650w six bar light installed in the next few days. Its a little tight in my den. I need to clean it all up. But room for my supply rack, cloning tray and my small Viparspectra light that I use for sprouts and clones.

Day 40 and I am rapidly running out of space in this 5 x 5. Again I give much of the credit to these amazing genetics seeds I got from the great guys @chosenseeds.com. Last grow I was able to fit 9 plants in a 5 x 5 space with a little room to spare. By the time I get to flipping the switch on these girls I will only have room for 6 and it may be tight. I still have the (formerly twisted/deformed Yuhbary) in the tent. (see post below) And one of the cloned tops I did. But Im afraid they are going to get muscled out over the next few weeks at the rate these girls are growing.

I wanted to share the progress of this Yuhbary that started life deformed and twisted all up. Where most growers probably would have culled it - curiosity led me to let it grow and learn from it. Its not as large as the others but it started and stopped growing twice (I thought that was it and done both times) but since I cut out the malformed 6 leaf growth (photo) that seemed to be blocking its growth it was like a flood gate opening and now the plant is actually growing and filling out at a faster rate than all the others and is very vibrant. Glad I saved it and it looks like it will produce nicely. Whatever problems that caused it to be so deformed as a sprout I feel was due to some type of outside influence, possible silver contamination as was suggested or something else. Outside of the one stem I cut Ive done no trimming or training to it.
