All about advance nutrients

Any one using advance that would like to share their techniques and experiences?
I currently use the connoisseur A+B with the full line up of additives in dirt. Mother earth tea, sensizym, carboload,h1,f1, b52, voodoo juice, scorpion juice, bud blood, overdrive, bigbud, and if i missed any, its all on their nutrient calculator at medium feeding. I am confused as hell with the line up though, voodoo says use every 3 weeks but some people say voodoo isnt good with dirt also it says on the bottle use every three weeks?? why do they recommend so much sensizym? is it worth using 1500 ml of sensizym for 195 L res? f1 says to spray during flowering up to the finish?? On the nute calculator it doesnt tell you to use scorpion juice but on the bottle it says use during flowering i think? i mean so far so good with the results but i would like to have a better understanding of what i am using.

I would use 25% or less of whatever they reccomend. They want you to use more so you can go back to them but the reality is most plants cant use what they recommend unless you have an almost perfect enviorment going on (high humidity, elevated CO2 etc. etc.)

Also, less is more. Giving steady lower doses of nutrient will work better than using more than needed. I also use some Adv. Nut. products (actually I only use grow/bloom A+B now) and have found that lower doses works better.

Water and fresh air supply/movement are more important than the crazy expensive high end fertilizers. The vigorous marketing of their products makes you think they have some magic in a bottle that will grow trees overnight or plants that will somehow break known scientific limitations of living systems.

If your using soil Id recomend things like worm castings and homemade compost as a cheaper, less harmful, and most importantly, potent way to get plants closer to their genetic potential.

Fuck that overpriced garbage. The owner is a whiney fat biatch.
So you're completely writing off a nutrient because you don't like the guy who sells them?

And you're telling someone else to avoid a nute because of advertising? Not great reasoning, in my opinion. And not very helpful.

I've used Advanced Nutrients for a while now and they're awesome. Sure, their videos are intense, but I could care less. I just want a nute that looks good.

Instead of acting like a whiney...well, you already know what I'm going say...maybe you should give them a try, tell people what you thought of the nutes - that's how we're all going to learn from each other on these boards.

So, yeah, for the original poster who wanted some questions answered, I think Advanced is certainly worth the money, but as someone else said, use about 25% less since all of the nutes can be a bit much at first for a grow.

I've always just called or emailed AN when I've needed help with a grow. They're pretty cool with helping you out - and not making you feel like some sort of criminal (or an idiot - and I've asked some stupid questions).

good luck man!
