Alien tech

I'm thinking I'll flip this room in a day or two. Right now I've got blue cheese, alien tech and blueberry kush. Thinking I'll flip the room to 12/12 mid week.
They're in Promix. I run a mega cheap 2part for veg until I transplant to 5gal nursery pots then I run Hollands secret through till flush. I have cuts of each of the forementioned strains just waiting to see roots before I flip.

I'm currently growing a pheno of Alien Tech called AlienDog Cherry by Obsoul33t (the originator of all the Alien gear) and couldn't be more pleased. Overall weight looks great. I flowered them short, they still grew tall- so be aware of that. Mine sure like the light, the more the better.

This room is 75-79f lights on. I have the room recirculating with my house are so its never cooler than 68f in there. Winters are cold and dry where I live so in winter in veg I'm ihitting an RH of 40 hopefully higher in flower but usually the RH goes down as winter progresses. I have no intention of sealing the space so I'll take what I get. I'm hoping to get a better 3rd light but for now I'm using 2x 315cmh's and a 4x4't5ho with led conversion bulbs (quantum board coming in 2020).

The alien tech is growing awsome. It's much lighter in colour than the two other strains I'm running. Hoping to see roots so I can flip these bitches. The smaller pheno is so much farther behind that I decided to put it in this pot I had laying around. I concidered putting it in a 5gal too but that would've made accessing the corner/watering a MFer so I went for this instead. Hoping the mainlining/ training will make for a cool menorahesque plant early 2020.

This run I have an ec pen and I've got the 3part at 950 for now.

In the flower room shot the plant in left side of the scrog is the alien tech. Next go around I'm working with 2xalientech 2xblueberry and 1bluecheese. My veg plants still have 5-6 weeks min of veg. Time and will flower be in 1gallons next weekend? and will flower out in 5gallon pots. I'm way lower than my dose chart calls for. I'm giving humic/folvic every third feed. This is my first run with an ec pen so I'm hoping it helps me dial things in a bit.

I use a small humidifier in my s2 x 4 tarter tent, but (and I may try this myself) you could try a pot of hot water on a Programmable Induction Cooker from NuWave Ovens to increase RH

Thiis plant is by far the largest most vigorous of the strsins I'm screwing around with. Just fed in humic and fulvic. Since all my feed water comes from my 110gal goldfish tank I'm able to dial back the nutrients. In flower the extra nitrates/nitrates are less essential but I figure it ain't hurting anything. Plus the mulm from a freshly flushed sponge filter is a great treat between salty inputs.

My favorite spot to drink coffee

I no longer use the canister filter or display light hooked up as II concider it an unnecessary fail points. I have all the aquarium stuff on a nifty seachem day/night power bar which also flips on my walll fan The tank and stand are custom. The fish do fine with the extra from my light set up. The power chord is only running like that (no drip loop) so I could back light the fish for this photograph.
I'm
I'm currently feeding Holland's Secret calnesium as well as thier m/g/b. I also added a lil liquid kool bloom in week 3. This week I'm switching things up and adding powdered bud fusion. I got this product for free at Hempfest in a sample pack. It's some kinda 0-50-30.
I'm shooting for a final EC of 1400-1500 ph6.1-6.3. So far the alien texhnolgy looks more impressive than the blueberry and almost as chunky as my blue cheese cut. The tank water has a relatively high ph and an EC of 300-400.

Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow and fuck around in the gardens. Will be sure to take some close ups of the buds as we head into week 4.

What are the temps of the actual plants (leaves etc.) and planter pots (top of medium, side of pots, whatever) with lights on, at the warmest time? And at lights off, at coolest time? (I guess you're saying the air is 68*F minimum...).
I'm curious to compare. And curious about the difference in the ambient air temps you're saying, and the actual temps of objects/surfaces.

You might want to stick with HID in 2020. But I don't know all the specifics and particulars of your setup and environment.

I think my surface temperatures were higher
ambient temp with lights on is 72-76f. Last time I checked LST it was a few degrees higher.

Full disclosure got me a infestation of thrips for Christmas....MFer! In week 5 of flower. Been rotating pylon, neem/insect soap & pyrethrum in my veg room since spotting the little pricks week or two ago. They're leaving my blue cheese alone and seem to prefer the blueberry kush & alien tech leaves.
My nutrient mix week 5 is holland's secret (Calnesi/m/g/b)with jet fuel and carbs at 6.3 1000ec.

Two alien techs in veg look great after transplant and IPM.

The floor is cement so it acts as a massive heat sink. Ther used to be a hot tub in the center so I'm blessed with an octagonal pit in the middle of my flower room. All my plants are on milk crates and sit on styrofoam risers in drip trays.image.jpg
Keeping the plants in the pit area scrog free allows acess the the l shaped scrog need be.

This pheno of alien tech was in continual praying mode in flower. I only have one jar left as my wife and I went to town on it (lol). The smoke was strong and tasted piney with hints of grapefruit. I'm happy to say it cloned really easy and I now have it in veg and flower.

The two in the last picture are going to be beasts I maybe should've used bigger pots but we'll see I'll take a new pick later this weekend

Oh ok, so you would say this is a good breeder then? Do you have any pics of the final product? Plants look nice!

i'm also growing prism's alien tech now from a freebie from truenorth. Its a nice plant for sure. stem smell is absolutely dank pine, and it's a vigorous grower, and it could be just my seedling but it is super super picky with nutrition. It seems to dislike N and it seems to lock out a lot. I have seen it go deficient in cal/mag, iron, and both OD on, and starve for N all while beside an Relic R2 and a Heavy Duty Fruity that are flawless.
