He knew this was all coming and has been hiding and investing money through back doors he knew he would lose these cases it’s sad that they won’t see anything for a very long time if ever I think they should just bring back public punishment and chop his tongue out in public and then cut his hands at the wrist. The sad thing is that we used to have decent people, even legislators, to the right of center.

The thing that fascinates me is how nearly the entire GOP was sucked under (that man was not cause but effect) by a most unAmerican agenda. I hope to read specific histories in perhaps a decade.

Sen. Cheney would have been pretty far right before, and even as, Reagan changed Republican math. Now she is the moderate aberration.

everyone has been dragged at least two steps to the right of where they were ten years ago...except the radical left, who have always operated on their own. conservative centrist are right wing now, those that were right wing are now crazy ass magats, left leaning centrists are now right in the middle of the road....it's just a step to the right...they're doing the time warp again, without the jump to the left.

I used to be a centrist’s centrist. (My joke was to call my politics radical centrist.)
I’ve moved a few tippy toes to the left, mostly regarding guns. But the stage has careened so far rightward that I am now effectively a social democrat.

In retrospect, the last Republican for whom I voted for the oval office was Bush senior.
After that, I found myself voting for Clinton and Obama. I sensed rather than figured out that the GOP was leaving the center. By the time That Man ran, my Democrat voting included federal and state legislators.

There is no balance in the Democratic Party to 2022 Republican Fascists. Most Democrats are just slightly center/left
