Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10

the pH is 4.5 to keep the organic material from breaking down, use 1 tablespoon per gallon every second or third watering. It's not a bad thing just adjust the pH before watering.

Just checked the ph on this stuff, and ya it was around 4.5, even at half strength. Mixed 1tsp of the 0-10-10 to 1/2gal. h20, added 2tsp of ph up to get the ph back around 6

you will most likely need to adjust the pH regardless, always check your pH. I use botanicare pro grow and bloom they don't alter the pH but I still need to adjust it because my tap water has a pH of 8+

im using the Alaska 0-10-10 with pretty good results so far.......since it isnt 100 percent organic due to the Phosphoric acid it can kill some of the beneficial microbes in your soil, so what i do is add some worm castings to the top layer of my soil after use to add some of those good microbes back to the soil that may have been lost...and used along with molasses water between feedings has turned out pretty well so far.....just make sure you flush a good 10 days before harvest!!

i think the worm castings also help to balance out ph in soil....
How Worm Castings work with Soil pH
Worm Castings act like a buffer for plants. Where soil pH levels are too high or low, Worm Castings make soil nutrients available again to the plant. Compared to the soil itself, Worm Castings are much higher in bacteria, organic material and available nitrogen, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.

Jeez!
Resurrecting an morbidly old post!

I use AFF & Morbloom regularly, on several species and I like them so much, I hit up Home depot in the Fall and Winter and buy them out when they're on sale!!
I've found that the Alaskas old formulas work the best but don't like using the Morbloom on strains that like Alkaline-leaning mediums or buds that are supposed to be purple or blueish. The acidity of the Morblooms formula easily makes for red, yellows and orange stigmas and also makes the plant stave for nitrogen, leading to early N deficiencies early in flower.
Needless to say, I have found luck using AFF & Morbloom with GSC, Bruce Banner and Northern Lights! These strains take as much of this product as you can give them during flower and the end product...? Dank as fuck and makes stinky pot!

I also like to cocktail Morbloom with Sea Bird Guano & Langbeinite steep tea. Roots literally grow through mesh bags and through the top of the soil to absorb everything.

Anyways, Alaskas veg and bloom phase products are very well worth everyone's time, especially at the 10-13$ for 2Ls!

What media are you using them in? I used to love these products for my outdoor flowers/garden because I had such alkaline water, the Alaska would lower to a perfect PH by itself. Probably has a ton of phosphoric acid in it for preservation, like Neptune's Harvest. I never had good luck with these indoors when I tried them 15 years or so ago due to the acidity-I never could find the right balance of dolomite to keep the soil from bottoming out in acidity.

Hey I jus stopped using morbloom cause I was feeding my plant 1/4tsp per 20oz bottle of morbloom 0-10-10 wit Alaska fish 5-1-1 n I mix the room so one adds nitrogen to the bloom but is it ok to use every other day or two???

Has anyone used morbloom n Alaska fish thru flower I started using it every 2 days an figured being morbloom has no nitro I can mix the two an results are great jus gotta keep feeding every 2 days ... But I jus switched to flora series last night but was really liking the Alaska fish 5-1-1 wit morbloom 0-10-10 but then I was told your not suppose to use morbloom every 3 days so I switch to flora series last night

It's the thread that won't die.

0-10-10 is super acidic, so really tough to use without lots of pH adjustment...there are better options for a 0-10-10 booster if needed. I don't know about the 5-1-1 but I'd want to know that it also doesn't tank the pH before using regularly.
