The socialist tag should exist honestly. Milton Friedman made the case in the 80s that we were a socialist nation and he was correct imo. At least Bernie is honest about it. Kinda forced the rest of the party to look in the mirror and its pissing them off.

Would Al Sharpton prefer the terms statist or collectivist? I mean when you pimp identity politics labels seem very important.

I know framers around here clearing 100k easy. At least the guys who own the company do. Did you not say you own your company?? Or were you lying about that too? Hell when I did custom cabinets I made 50k my second year as just an apprentice.

Btw a quick google search says the average framer makes around 42k a year so you’re doing better than average so touché. But that’s for the workers. Not the company owners. So either you are just a worker and not owner or you’re just plain lying. I vote the latter.

You are right. The tax schedule one of the Sanders cultists posted was just a political ad put out there by his campaign. Sanders hasn't actually said how his plan would be paid for or how much it will cost Buck or anybody else.

It was his own campaign's ad, though. Since when have ads shown the true costs? A prudent person (not a Sanders supporter) would take that as a low estimate.

Did you read that article? Really? That part where it says: Take, for example, Sanders’ plan to provide universal, single-payer healthcare. Sanders says he’d pay for that with a new 2.2% income-based “health care premium” tax, as well as a 6.2% payroll tax paid for by employers.

Bernie hasn't actually said how much in taxes people would pay. Or employers. He says he wants to talk about it. In my view, there needs to be vigorous debate as to the best way to finance our Medicare for All legislation.
