I love the scent she's giving off like your saying it's sweet skunk exactly. I was originally going to do HSO blue dreams but the seed was a dud
These are F1 hybrids and emerge in 3 days like clockwork from direct soil planting. I keep a clear solocup on a red solo. Clear is perforated like a soil cup would be for drainage, but for ventilation. After a day of emerging I remove the clear. Soil never dries out. You could mist the clear for humidity. That's one cloning method I'm trying. I also have some grodan cubes for clones, but might try a seed in a cube.

Shes looking very heathly. My suggestion would be get calibration liquid for your meter, i recently got some, tested my meter and showed that i had been feeding my girls 5.6 water for who knows how long, now their getting steady 6.4 and seemed much happier within a few days. I would also run a flush before you flip to 12/12 or now to flush any nutes and reestablish your soils ph. Also for a scrog screen i would let the girls stretch then pull them under the farthest section itll reach comfortably so the nodes under the plant top get light, within a few hours of doing this youll notice the little leaves next to the fan leaves perk up towards the light. Each one of the leave sets equals another budding site during flower. Good luck!!

I would lollipop and trim off a ton of under growth. Get those bad leaves off. Also either tuck or remove a few of those big top fan leaves. It'll let more light into the lower canopy. In my setup if I don't clear everything below my scrog it'll be larfy and airy.14910555134531183074455.jpg

Day 38
Ok guys I honestly don't know what's going on here. Now I know this can't be my temps because when I go to work I give her 5 hours darkness and temps stay at 77 and humidity at 52. When I'm here I leave my door open light on temps 78-86 humidity 40 mostly. I was told to check my city's water so I took a screenshot. I also have pictures of the leaves it seems like there dying off but then again could it be some kind of deficiany. All of the tops are fine but the fan leaves seem to crisp up. Most at the bottom but im worried because there's one fan leaf towards the top spotted yellow. I'm so scared to use my sink water I used fiji water seemed like a good ph and she liked it she lifted right up. Or maybe I made a mistake lol?? I'm just worried about this yellowing and also I'm not sure when I should start to flower? I don't mind waiting but will I be battling her if I wait too long? Here are all pictures. I'm really spoiling her with a full bottle of fiji for $2.49 lol. I've been so scared to feed her nutes but I will try it with a gallon instead of a 2 liter bottle. I don't have a ph ppm meter I think I should prob invest in one right????? I guess practice makes perfect. It is my first time.

At least I'm happy to see she is sill thriving at the top. If you see in the middle there's tons of nodes about to sprout up I've been trying to Move the leaves so they can get more light but please any info is appreciated. I want to get this right. View attachment 3916935 View attachment 3916937
Next time I will be going with a legit scrog because I would like individual squares
Yeah mine are getting a lil crusty n yellow on the bottom which is normal at your stage. But that fiji water is high ph 7.7!

Thanks man I think I'm going to get me a ph ppm meter. I knew growing wouldn't be that easy! Well I thought that I would do better my first time.

So do you have a tutorial on that? Or do I just trim of fan leaves. I tried going on YouTube but it I can't really seem to understand it like I don't want to kill or hurt her. Or even like a simple explanation.

I'm with Dan Can Grow, if you grow leaves, you'll grow leaves... get them off and light to the flowers.

Go to youtube, find Grand Master Level, about a week ago he uploaded a video with a title about "The Leaf Strip"

Not a scrog garden, but will give you an idea of what you can get away with in regards to leaf stripping it's kind of shocking but pays off.

My studying has been leading me to thinking you want some of those big solar panels, but look at the nodes where they come from and your branches are emerging or trying to emerge from. If you want a good canopy, you want to have the plant put energy into those branch sites so they can compete for dominance with the main colas. That's why you LST, pull that main cola down and the plant will be like Oh Shit, gotta get auxins to the next closest branches. That's why I take lower branches off. Just a waste of energy, along with the degrading lower leaves. Tuck your leaves around so your branches can get light. Make sense?

Another conclusion the school of hard knocks is telling me, maybe I want my plant to get a little stemmy and I shouldn't be blasting with high intensity early on. I want it to reach, then pull it down and force branching and push the branching up and out for a wide canopy. Once she bushes wide, screen it and ramp up intensity, tuck the aggressive shoots back under one adjacent opening to keep things even.

Ok so today is day 43 in veg
I'm thinking I should start flowering. I deff started lst tooo late. I trimmed the leaves that were half dead and ones that didn't look to well and now she can get more light. So as I was lst I was feeling really good and getting cocky about it things were going great until.........
Well I tried to lst the two top main colas. As I brand her downjust a little all I hear is snap!!!!
And I'm like oh no I might have just shit my self heart racing I go to look at it and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I was so scared asked a couple people and ended up taping it like this
IMG_0931.JPG
I added duct tape on top of the scotch tape because I figure it would hold better. I just don't want duct tape directly on my stem i would rather deal with scotch that isn't so sticky then duct tape over it. Do you think she will heal? Will this affect my yeild?
As for an update well I ended up giving her s little clean up and a little lst. Sucks because where I taped. Well those were my two main colas. Now I can't lst so there the only ones sticking up. I'm going to show some photos here I took my scrog out. All are lst'd except for those two main colas due to me splitting it like a dumbass.
