So the AK47 finally cracked and has started to flower. It also has had a lot of vertical growth in the last week. The trainwreck strains have responded well to being tied down and have over 100 budsites on each plant and 8 or 9 main colas starting to forum. I recieved a strawberry cough club clone thise week thas was about 10 inches tall and was in pretty bad shape but it had no bugs so I am reviving it and it is responding well. I will start this clone on 12-12 lighting. I am on 1000ppm nutes this week and am still adding corn syrup to my water on off feeding days. Still runiing 4-4ft fluoros, 5 23w 2700k and 5 27w 6500k CFL's.

So I have had tons of bud evleopment over the past 5 days...The ak47 is finally starting to produce some nice colas that are about an inch right now. The 2 trainwreck strains are produce some nice dense nugs and I have a few that are nice size alomst 3 inches...The strawberry cough is a trooper and is starting to get a lot of new growth. I topped it 2 days ago and it already has 2 new salks formed. Can''t wait to see what the next 2 weeks bring...up to 1100 ppm tigerbloom and straight ph water 6.5 in the strawberry...

I also added 4 more cfl's 23w 2700k. 3 too the main power strip and one over the ak47...

Had to stop by and see the progress. Everything looks excellent Inthesmoke well done :hump::joint:
Sup man, the grow is looking great. Some real nice buds forming. You need to drop 2 cfl's per plant down into the plant. You can get sockets at homedepot that have those reflector things...they are shop lights (you wont need reflectors. But plug em in and hang em down so that the socket part is actually about 4 inches below the top of the plants. You are wasting about 3/4 of your light righ tnow and you are only gonna have good surface buds. If you drop a couple CFL's per plant like I said you will have alot denser buds further down and will come close to doubling your yield. CFL's can make rock hard buds. In order to get thos erock hard buds and not fluffy buds you need 3 things. 1. The CFL's need to be within 1-2" from plant and the plant needs to be surrounded in light...not just on top of the cannopy. 2nd. The temps need to be between 70-80 tops. Best is 70-75. and 3rd. there needs to be lots of air circulation. If you put those 3 things together you will be very suprised at how nice of buds you get. I have seen plenty of CFL buds that are as good if not better then HPS buds. Bud definitly drop a couple lights 4 inches below the canopy for denser bud growth. I promise you it will do wonders. If your not sure what im talking about just PM me and I will try and explain what im talking about in better detail. Good luck to you my friend and I hope you get some nice fat nugs.

np. I feel ya bro, my babies are just taking off themselves. They are just at 15 days flower (since first pistil) and they are really frosting up and growing noticably every day. Veg and the first 2 weeks of 12/12 are always so tedious and your just like "Hurry the fuck up and flower omg" lol...anyways. We are at about the same spot so it should be nice to see how both of our crops finsih.

God luck buddy,

I've seen a lot of of the buds starting to get nice and thick. All the buds are very dense with tons of white hairs which some are starting to turn red. The strawberry cough is starting to flower now and should be a nice little plant. Have a little bit of a gnat infestation with the new soil I added but I'm headed down to the hydro store tomorrow to see what they have for my problem. Thanks for checking out my grow and keep watching.

Those plants look gorgeous man. I'm very interested to see how you do. I have my own CFL on the go right now using both these strains as well as a couple Ice plants. After you harvest do you think you could post a time lapse summary. Just note things like veg time, and flower time. I would appreciate it big time. Help me schedule out my grow a little better. I want to take clones right at the perfect time so that I can start towards a small perpetual harvest.

So I made a little home depot trip not even for this project but I always find myself buying CFL's every trip!

The buds have really taken off this week since upping the tiger bloom and one plant had a couple little nute burns but still is showing some nice buds. I'm flushing right now with 6.2 PH water and a little corn syrup and will start back on some tiger bloom in a day or 2. The 2 trainwreck plants are looking the best but the AK47 is right behind as it is a later flower. The strawberry Cough is showing some nice little flowers and will turn out to be some nice bud for a FREE plant. Also I dropped 2 lights down into my canopy to increase bud size (Props for the Tip!) and had to tie some the buds up because they are getting too heavy

I added some predatory nematodes in the soil to help control my gnat problem which isn't too bad at the moment as the still are only in the soil.

19 CFL's Currently 13 are 2700k and 6 are 6500k with 4 - 4ft Fluoros too.
