AK47 Flowering Stage: Week 7.5 (Advice please)

Not sure if any of you can tell from these pics, but I'd like some advice on when to harvest. These are Ak47 at 7.5 weeks. I know AK can take up to 10 weeks sometimes before harvest. Any advice on Ak47 harvest time is appreciated.

Very thin still, you're going to need those extra few weeks, plus some maybe.
Now is not the time to get impatient. Let them finish and you'll be rewarded.

I agree , i have known AK to go the full 11 weeks before now , it will repay you and they are spitting out lovely!!

What kind of light are you flowering under?

I'm using a digital ballast and have been running them under a 1000W bulb. 12hrs on 12 off.

HPS light 1000 W, digital ballast.

It does not matter that its digital , a 1000watts is a 1000watts , digital ballasts are just lighter and the ignition does not take as long but after light up magnetic or digital put out the same power,
how many plants are under it if you dont mind me asking ? is your air intake good ?

4 plants total.

I'm worried my humidity is too high as well.

Air intake could be better.

-How is your ventilation? What temps are you running at? Buds look a little small for being 7-1/2 weeks in under a 1000w.

Ventilation is the problem right now. My temps run 80 during day and 65-70 at night. I'm going to the shop tomorrow to get a new carbon filter and probably a better fan.

Will increased circulation help with their growth?

I don't know if it's air flow I'd guess veg time, soil, or nutes are your problem. My plants are under a 1000hps also an looked like that around week 3-4

My veg time was way to long. Does a long veg time encourage a long flowering time?

4 plants under a 1000 watt? something is very wrong here buddy. im runnin a 400 watt hps with 4 plants in 5 gal and im in week 5 with cali connections sour og and my plants are 2 or 3 times that size. wut r u using? soil,nutes,ph, etc. let us know so we can help. btw my temps are at 85(high) 70(low)

Yeah, I'm bummed about these plants. I really screwed up the ventilation, bigtime, for the last 4 weeks of my flowering. The humidity was probably around 70%+ and the ventilation was nearly zero. Each morning, I would notice the stagnant and damp air. I put some damprid containers in my tent and I'm keeping the door open. I'm heading out to get new fan and filter today. I'm just hoping that I can get some decent buds out of these plants over the next few weeks and save grace.

I'm doing them hydro in their own reservoir.
Ph 5.8 - 6.0
Daytime temp - 80
Nightime temp - 65-70
Humidity - A joke

You have decent bud formations already , dont panic , just improve your set up as you can and learn from your mistakes , they are still nice plants umbre

I'd finish this grow out and be happy with the results then try soil ffof and any quality nutes. Soil is sure fire every time minarets hydro can be touchy

Something is better than nothing. U will get sum good quality buds just not alot. My plants that went 12 12 fom seed looked like that. It was done in 53 days from seed. Got good bud but only got 10 grams from it using a 400 watt in a 2 qrt pot. And if u go ffof then mix with perlite. I used ffof for 2 years but then my hydro shop guy gave me a bag of roots organic soil for fee with my purchase. Never used ffof again. My plant love the ro much better and never had a prob. I still grow with the fox farm trio and go calmag been gettin beautiful results ever since. Best of luck to ya

they may be small but it looks pretty decent and if you let it finish you will have some good smoke.

they bulk up a bucnh of weight in the last 2-4 weeks. They look pretty awesome to me, totally covered in crystals. 2-3 more weeks should add like 30-40% more weight
