AK 48 cfl grow

here is my cfl grow i germed 10 ak 48 seeds from wwms and they all came up i have only 12 square feet to work with in my closet so i put mylar on the walls and i made a fixture using clamp light sockets and a big rubbermaid lid suspended from chain and i covered the bottom of that with 1 mil mylar i have 6 lights in it now but i want to put 3 more in it the plants are 11 days old and looking healthy so far i have to warm 42 watt cfls and 4 daylight cfls i think there only 23 watt though it was the biggest bulbs they had heres pics

Are you planning on flowering all of those plants with CFL's? If so you're going to need A LOT more lights.

well i was thinking about it if i do im gonna buy some 150 watt cfls but price wise im better off buying an hps how much heat do you think a 400 or 600 watt hps would throw off i cant really vent out the heat all i can do is leave open the closet door i would like to get a 400 watt mh hps switchable

I couldnt tell you about the heat as I've never used an HPS. I'm getting ready to order a 400 though.

How many females are you planning on trying to flower? They general rule is 100 watts per plant to flower with CFL's.

you probably don't want an hps unless you can cool it, it might get too hot for your environment without a cooling system

i would like to flower five i have if i can fit them i might be able to drill a hole in the celing and i can keep the door open i have a fan on the plants at all times after this grow i have another room i can use its about 30 or 40 sf im gonna use this room for cloning and my other room for flower is in the basement so its cool down there this is only my 2nd grow so i have noobish tendencies

To flower 5 plants you'd need a BOATLOAD of CFL's. On my last grow I only ended up with 1 female. I flowered her with CFL's. She had 400 watts of CFL's all to herself and it showed.

updated pics 13 days into grow getting bushier and a little more vertical growth im going to transplant them tomorrow i dont know if i should start neuts yet because im using miracle grow potting soil and it has neuts in it so i dont want to burn them if anyone has suggestions let me know i have jacks classic its 20-20-20 all purpose i think im going to have to put them on 12/12 next week then back to veg cause i just dont have the room does this have any bad affects on plants plz let me know heres pics

Transplant those as soon as possible, they're getting pretty big. I would probably wait til they're 5 weeks old or so before i started feeding them nutes.

tomorrow for sure i will i did not expect them to grow so fast my first grow was bag seed and i had a shitty setup but now that i put some planning into it so far so good

2 weeks in and i just transplanted into 1 gal pots i was gonna use bigger pots but i cant fit them ill wait til i sex them then transplant them again i added 6 more clfs also if anyone has suggestions let me know heres pics its alot brighter in there then you can see in the pics my camera filters out alot of the light
