I have a 150w hps light that I need to cool now

can you stack them and then place them into a pvc pipe to increase the overall air movement? or if you stack them does the power stay the same sense all of the fan blades are moving the same speed?
How can you build your own type of carbon filter setup for a box?
I heard you can get filters that have carbon in them (like for a hepa) and then cut a small square out and then place it into the box, does anyone know about this method?
I need some info on hooking up CPU fans, I have a cellphone adapter connected to a cpu fan but i'm not sure if its too much or too little
