Air Tight Container Vs. Envelope Seed Storing

Hey fellow RIU's, I know theres like 100 threads already on seed storage. Just I can never really get a soild answer when it comes to which is better for long time storage for seeds. A classic white envelope or an air tight container such as a pill bottle, or picture container. Just wanted to know which one you guys would recommend.

ps; I plan on just tossing em in a drawer, no freezer no fridge.

air tight.

I have in a bag inside of more bags in some bubble wrap in a envelope inside a bag inside a food storage container.

Pill bottles are not airtight. Use a glass bottle or other screw on air tight thing and refrigerate it. I bought a bunch of small glass bottles off ebay with screw on caps. Heat and air will kill the seeds in time. You can freeze them also, but if they thaw out you have to use them at that time.

If you are going to pop them within say 2 to 5 years, I do not think it matters as they will survive.

i did do a search actually read about them and didnt get a solid enough answer.

and now there are 101 threads with no "solid" answers. take it as you will but a google search will keep most questions from appearing on these boards. its not hard to find actual references to articles written by breeders, or you can go download the pdf torrent or RAR. file of The cannabis bible from jorge Cervantes. more information in that book than you may want to know.
