Air pruned soil blocking system used on small farms

I used this system for years on a small veggie farm. It is a common method in European farms. Basically, you make a stiff soil mix and use an "ice cube tray" style ejector to make soil blocks. Could be nice system for a clone op. It can be a simple diy project all the way to a motorized production blocking system with seeder.

Get rid of loads of containers. No more cleaning them and housing the accumulated funk of mounds of plastic. End the circle of plastic.

i use peat and vermicastings 1:1 but have better % success with biochar and vermicasting 1:1 since the peat goes hydrophobic

Hmm, does bio-char also act as a "perlite" in keeping the soil open?
