Air cooled reflector vs a bare hanging bulb?

I was wondering if there is an advantage to using a hanging bulb over using the air cooled reflector?
space is 10 x 10 and already have 2 air cooled ones but want some input from you folks.
Thanks.

Reflector always, regardless of whether it's air-cooled or not you'll still get better results than just hanging it.

If u already have 2 air cooled lights I think hangin a bulb vertically would provide more light for the bottom of the plants since u can hang the ligght inbetween plants and not just above them. Never used a vertical bulb but that's my 2 cents on it.

Even clean glass absorbs a portion of your usable light. I won't quote specific numbers but I've read several reports saying it can be a significant percent. How often do you clean the glass on your current air-cooled hoods? Most folks say...not often enough.

Im not so worried about the bottom of plants because of the style of growing . Lollipopped and single colas. I am thinking just canopy light . I am also thinking about getting a light rail or two depending on the intel i get about how effective they can be. I would like to grow small plants no more than 2 ft tall. I can fit 15 under each light without light movers. So I am hoping that if i get the light rails instead of more lights(at this time) if it would be worth it. The reasoning would be power consumption. I would need and electrician to add a sub panel for the grow area and I dont want to have anyone at all there. I want to learn how to do the sub panel myself so if you guys have some knowledge to share i thank you in advance.
