Hello RIU members. So I'm back after a year break that I took from growing which happens to be my third grow. So I'm still a bit unfamiliar with some stuff. Last grow I used a 2x4x6 tent this time around I've got a 6x8x6 room shed. My question is , is this lighting, air flow, intake and exhaust good?Inside I have 3 LED panels
2 x 600w LED
1 x 300w LED
4 x 8" oscillating fans in each corner.
1x Apollo 6" (intake) 390cfm
1x Can Fan 6" (out) w/ Carbon F. 440cfm

I have 6 girls Sunset Sherbert in the grow room a few seedlings 7 GSC which I plan on throwing in the tent I spoke of, where they will continue to veg.
Ps I have another 600w led on stand by ready for flower. Will I need more or bigger fans? Or more lighting? First time using LED as well. Any help is appreciated many thanks.

YES very import unless u are adding your own Co2

2 types of grow roomrs
1 exchange ......air in air out controlling the temps and Co2 lvls like that
2 sealed ..........u have fans blowing around inside with a AC and a Co2 suppling

ok led is simple as u have 4 fans in there blowing u are covered for removing IR heat

Temps run at about 67-77 at its highest on a real hot day that is. Iam supplying my own co2 as well. I just was not sure if I had enough fans temps seem to be running good and I placed a ir reflector on the inside of the ceiling. There a picture of work in progress when it was incomplete I was a bit impatient and hung the light to see how they would look I was being an excited camper. Just to get an idea of what I've got, it's also under a pretty nice cotton wood tree .

Depending on the actual power draw and quality of those LEDs, I don't see them covering 48 sq ft in flower well. What kind of lights are they? I'm using 800w of actual power draw to cover 2.5 x 6.5 which is a third of your area. You might need a 4th 600w light which would probably fit the shape of your space better, assuming your are going to use the whole room.

Actual watts being used by lights only is 1250w. I have 1000w hps light from my previous grow I could Thor that in but since I'm using led would it stack the the lumes? Or will it mess up anyway since to two kinds of lightning? Currently on a budget so getting another led would hurt my pocket right now. So total if I were to add that hps would be 2250 actual watts just in lights only

You could also put your HPS on it's own fan and ducting using outside air to cool and sending it right back outside without filtering. I also did that for years when I was running HID. The less air you have to move through that carbon filter the better.

If you need more light hang your hps higher than normal to cover the whole grow and use your leds to supplement it. I would of thought that would only be needed for flowering.
My only Issue with your fans is you may end up with positive pressure because once you add a filter you will reduce the cfm of that extractor fan and if it falls just below your intake then you will have positive pressure and smell been forced out of any where it can.
There is certainly no issue with mixing different light sources, you will get more photons! We like photons..

GL with the grow!

You've said you are supplying Co2 but also ventilating in/out. Are you really doing both? Typically you supplement ambient Co2 levels in a sealed room only, unless you are talking about venting from a lung room with high Co2 saturation.

On lighting, I wouldn't feel confident with so few LEDs for this room footprint, and if this is all new gear to you I would seriously run some numbers on their capabilities before putting them to work. For what its worth, i'm about to toss out 2x 400W LED panels ( 3x7ft veg only table) that haven't even done a days' work because yet i'm just not convinced they can do it. I'm dropping on a cob array kit instead.

Well I guess you can say I'm doing both its a yes and a no yes to co2 but not enough I'm using the bags of mushrooms or fungi that "produce co2" that's my co2 and I plan on thrown in the hps for flower in thinking in adding a my instead of using my hps as an add on and I'm looking into adding a 8' fan for exhaust after I hang it up its a 8" xl reflective light panel for the hps I'll be adding that 8" to that with the exhaust and I forgot to mention on the can fan filling out the air I have a 8" booster added need the end. Sorry I'm still inexperience and I appreciate the help!

Whatever method you go with to produce Co2 it is definitely counter productive to ventilate at the same time as you'll be sending all that precious gas to dissipate into your regular atmos. The point of adding Co2 is to saturate your plants' atmos with up to 1500ppm, and even then the efficacy of this determined by your other environmental controls.

IMO your current plan is literally ventilating your money away for no apparent gain in growth.

Hmm okay thanks for the tip definately need to do more reading. So no co2 when using in/out ventilation for grow room hmm sorry to do this but if I may, what would you do different about the set up I have and why? Again sorry I'm still learning it's an amazing hobbie I picked up on besides my outdoor fruit and vegetable garden.
