Ahh! Something dropped my PH in Bucket to 3.6! Help!

I have no idea what caused to massive drop, I sprayed Neem oil on the plant and I'm thinking it all percolated down into the bucket?

Anyway I don't think the plants were in the solution for more than 12 hours at the most, the plant looks terrible though.

The main stem at the top is all kinds of soft, and many leaves have gotten crispy. However, some leaves don't look effected at all!

Anyone else had this happen to them, and what did they do?

My plant is a clone about a month old, maybe 3 weeks.

I changed the solution, and just put in straight water, is this a good idea? I plan on adding a very small amount of nutes this evening.

Please help, or let me know your experiences!

Is this plant in veg or in flower?

Only time Ill ever spray a plant is maybe the first week of root growth, and then leave it alone.

If your running a high wattage hps, and sprayed em, it can cause dried out leaves etc from the light magnifiying the water droplets on the leaves.

But, in your case, I guess you had to...

And yes, I would give them a small dose of nutes, and maybe a drop per gallon of Superthrive.

Might do your plant some good.

Make sure you check your ph after adding nutes.

I like to test my ph everyday no matter what.

Use ph up, or down to get it right around 5.8-6.0

Good luck :)

Tap Water
Nutes Low Dose like 3tbs per 5 gallons
drop of super-thrive per gallon if you have it
make sure you do not have too much or too little water
give em 3 days to pick back up don't mess with PH till then.

Yah, this is in Veg, it's only about a month old. Maybe a 14 inches tall... They are just

I don't have super thrive, I'll add some nutes.

I don't understand the too much or too little water though... These are in buckets full of water with air pumps.

I did everything else, I checked the PH last night aroun midnight and it was right around 6.0... I checked it at 5 PM the next day, and the plant PH was 3.5, and the plant looked like shit. I didn't check in the morning just cause I forgot I guess, the plant looked good though at 9AM. Also, the plant is under T5 Flouros.

The plant top is awful, it's all folded over, and soft, the rest of the plant seems more healthy but almost all of the large fan leaves are toast.

Has anyone had this happen before? My plant sat in 3.5 PH water in a bubblebonic type system for probably 12 hours.

I have the same set-up as you and I am also experiencing my ph dropping too low. What I think is going on is that my nutes were too high and my girls were drinking more water than nutes thus leaving a solution high in nutes and low in ph. I flushed them with straight ph'ed water for 2 days and then backed my nutes off from 1000ppm to 800ppm. That was about 5 days ago and they look better. If the problem persists I might try flushing with florakleen which I have not yet done, it's day 35 of flowering for them. However I'm not sure if salt build-up lowers ph and whether florakleen would help me. I hope this post helps you.

HAHA I just read your other post I believe.

Yah I think that was the problem, and it was just a coincidence that I had sprayed them with Neem.

My plant pretty much completely died, but it's back and looking as healthy as ever. I've since cut back on the nutes a lot more, and things seem to be going good.
