I have cobs (citi and vero), boards, strips and a 315. They all grow great bud. Stick to those and you really cant go wrong.

and dont sweat efficiencies....Version 1 boards grow great bud....the new shit is great but there is nothing wrong with the other stuff. And a 315 if you are tight for cash is a pretty sweet light too.

I just mean they all are good at growing buds....When you master how you grow the difference will matter more but i have a long way to go myself!

If in doubt grab a timber light....or a 315 CMH and get cracking....both of those are pretty good stalwart performers..I know from my own experience.

And grams per watt is the dumbest metric ever used....How effective was the light at producing bud...how good is the bud...what is the density and trich coverage like...how does it smoke...That is a more usable metric.

Because i can veg a plant and scrog it and get a lot per watt or flood and drain a tray and get less and a lot faster...

For the record I won a 1000 watt HPS and I am going to fire that bad boy up with a couple of plants...I have never used HPS. I gots to know.

And i dont care how many grams per watt...I have enough space to make more than i need forever :D and lights.

This thread is a shit show..

I have one of the Aglex 2 cob lights and another of the 1 cob version. Their a hell of a lot of light for the money.

For the price of the 2 cob one I don't think I know of another light that throws more photons for the money.

It's not fancy, those that love to justify their overspend to themselves will tell you it's garbage, but it's a great value.

I'm out, not participating in this HID vs LED shit show. Both are awesome, just maybe ideal for different situations.

I can spend 200 on just cob chips and another 400 on drivers and prob another 250 on the metal and have a 1200 watt light or if I wanted I can go up to 2000 watts from the wall have fun beating that

If i early jar with boveda and follow bk's advice thems probably the yeild weight as they know zilcho about drying - then id obviously have to post a 'My bud smells of hay' thread as most who read theitlr advice have to and for some reason own a hygrometer for jars idk wtf that ones about....!

2lb under 400w peice of piss listening to how bk and his fools tell others how to dry lol that all thatams happened here too :-)

I just put them in jars and just open it once a day depends on how wet the bud is if it’s super dry I burp it every two days if not more when it’s the perfect rh for me I burp them once to twice a day but I refuse to use packs I can keep them perfectly In a good rh when I work from home
