no rock wool
the 2 i bought came in organic sponge. I had to trim down the sponge so i could squeez them into the little plastic fitting. My best guess would be that the were to tight. all of the clippings I've taken are in the sponges as well. Hope fully they survive

I have a new cabinet now. I'm just finishing it up today, this way I will be able to change my res easier and it will just be all around better.

I think my roots went through too much pain.
They came in organic sponge that was too big for the AG sites so i had to try to trim them down. Being to afraid to cut the roots i tried to squeeze them in there. I pretty much killed em. I'm a horrible parent!
I'm just gonna flower the soil one early and start over with clippings from my buddies babies

I don't know if anyone is still watching this thread or not but do plan on starting over. Currently I have 2 master kushies in soil @ about a week of flowering under my new FloraLux 150w mini grow light. This little light is dope!!! And I'm just letting my AG run 24/7, There are some clones in there but there is something really strange going on..........right after my clones that I bought died I decided to take clones from the master kush that is in soil. I put them in the AG, They sat in there for a week and a half and didint show any change or improvement so I took another cutting, and let it sit in the AG for a week, So now some have been in there for almost 3 weeks and still have no sign of improvement......they arent getting worse either........just staying in the same unchanged state. Now on the other hand the cutting that has only been in for a week and a half already has small starter roots dipping into the water. WTF is happening?

The ones that i bought were just barely rooted. But i took some cuttings from my master kush that is in soil and one of them is doing really well now. Ill post up some pics from yesterday

NEW CAB:
material- radiant barier(some 1/2 partical board with reflective material already on one side!) and 2x4x10's
1 small PC fan exhaust
1 rotating fan
a timer on 12/12
150w HPS from HTGsupply
AeroGarden Pro200 (24/7)
air pump with NO airstone
I have an extra piece of material with cardboard on top trying to block out the light comming from the AG. I'm kinda worried that a little too much light is escaping into the dark side. Also the light is held up by a rope that is tied to one side and has a pully on the other side so I can raise or lower it with ease.
There are some little peaks at the clones in the AG

, but hopefully they bounce back. And then there are the 2 Master Kushes in soil about 2 weeks into flowering. Also the PC fan is controlled by an old train controller that I found in my garage

My AG finally has 2 plants (1 a clone from Master Kush & 1 from bagseed) both have strong root systems. I'm also doing some experimenting with LST on the 2 MK's that are in soil. I'll post pics tonight!

The only problem is SPIDER MITES, those little F@!%ers! so i'm gonna try this nicotine solution that I read about but I'm not sure if it's a foliar spray or what?
The soils are about 3 weeks into flowering and I just switched the light cycle on the AG from 24/0 to 18/6. One is a seedling and the other is a MasterKush clone. The clone has been in for about 4 weeks! for some reason it just took its sweet ass time to develope a root system, which now is super strong and looks very healthy
And the bagseed seedling has been in for a week, which also has a great root system already in the res.
