AG Homebox Grow

Hello Everyone.
So my plant is doing ok after I almost killed it. I accidentally broke off a fan leaf branch with some rope I was using to hang the WRONG light. lol But seems to actually be helping because now more light is getting down to the secondary growth. You can also see the female hairs alot more.

Only real problem I'm concerned about is some brown spots I've noticed on the lower stem. I'm really hoping it's not the mold again. If anyone knows what the problem is please let me know.

yo jonny how much did u pay for box with the filter and fan?????

The Homebox was $210( that's with shipping) from
buy-the-homebox.com

And I got the fan/filter combo from hydrowholesale.com for $140. It's not the best carbon filter and fan ever but it gets the job done. Never once has it smelled outside of the homebox.

Nice man, grats on female.

Try to q-tip the brown stuff and see what happens, if it doesn't come off, its probably not that mold.

Yeah I'm not really sure if it's mold or not. It doesn't really seem like it wipes off. The spots are just brown and it looks like it's decaying or some shit. I guess I'll just let it fly and see what happens.

Yea hopefully its not stem rot, is the bottom of the stem soggy? or dry like the top?

If its soggy, might be stem rot.

I checked the stem and it doesnt't seem to be soggy but the spots that are brown feel a little bit squishy and the brown seems to have spread slightly. Not really sure what to do. Probably throw up a pic in the plant problem forum.

So I got my new light fixture up and running today and I must say I'm pretty stoked. Here's a pic so you can all check it out. Basically it's the exact layout that SeeMoreBuds shows in his Buds For Less book.

So yeah my plants not doing the greatest. The roots seem to be extremely brown, not sure what that means.

I forgot to raise the AG lights this morning and it burned the top of my plant. And the browning around the stem still seems pretty bad.

I'll post some picks later, but if anyone knows what causes roots to brown please let me know.

Yo
So my plant seems to be recovering after the burn the other day. Got some pics from two days ago and the last two pics were taken this morning.

Pic 1: You can see the roots are fairly brown. Is this bad?? When I filled the tank with more water they still seemed brown.

Pic 2: The stem still has brown spots on it. Is this stem rot??

Pic 3 is the whole plant and Pic 4 is the top after I trimmed away some of the stuff that was burned.
Pic 5: The whole plant this morning. Seems to be doing ok. If you can see the top back fan leaves there is some orange areas. This started after the plant got burned but then it stopped, was it stress from the burn maybe??
Last pic is the top of the plant recovering.

Any help would be awesome!

Stem and roots look fine to me. My stem looks even uglier than that because of the dead baby leaves that are shedding right now.

hey man, love the setup, how are you powerin your CFLs are they plugged into an outlet? if so, where can you get a things that can change the output from an outlet to a light socket? what are they called? how much are they?

Yo Bmn77, that is some homemade shit. What you do is cut the female end off of an extension cord and strip the wires and wire them to a light receptical. Alls my setup has is 6 extension cords going through the wood and boxes and wired to the light fixtures. Not too hard and its fairly cheap. Everything is from Lowes.

nice setup man, looks great. Have you ever though about L.E.D. that tent is perfect

Yeah I've looked at LEDs a little bit but from what I saw and read they didn't seem to produce the best buds. Do you know of any that are proven to be good for cannabis??
