After harvest can you graft to the root stalk?

I don't see why you can't. You would have to re pot though. I'd imagine the plant would be pretty root bound.

Actually, on second thought, the stalk may be too woody to be able to take a grafting
 
I'll smoke abit and think. I was thinking the plant would have a great root system. I'm gonna try it. Not grafting to just a stump but leave some branches.
 
i want to top of my mothers and then graft it onto a stalk would be awesome then wait for it to recover then flower again :) would just have to watch for root rot.
 
I have recently been wondering the same thing. You should try and leave a branch with some foliage as an energy source for the root mass, but do please let us know! Im sure my curiosity will get the better of me and ill try it a few times till it works. It would be fun to see how fast the root mass would grow the clone or if you flowered right away would it produce super bud being a HUGE root to plant ratio...all so interesting.
 
Yes it has been experimented with other plants before.
