I harvested just over 4oz in 71 days from germination to harvest. Excellent smoke.
Shit! What type of lights were you using and how powerful were they? You got any pics? I've seen random pictures of people plants around the internet but I've never seen any that look like they have much more than an ounce on.

Tucked in the fan leaves to give the side branches a chance to get some light. Everything is developing nicely.

Where's all the love? I thought more people would have commented by now :(

As you can see one of the plants is rocketing off. The other one has 4 side branches coming up which are level with the main stem which I think it good as it should mean they get bigger buds.
There's a boiler man coming over tomorrow so I'm gunna have to hide my plants up the loft for an hour or so in case he comes in my room, which is starting to smell a bit..
I ordered some violator kush seeds yesterday so I'm start vegging them in a week or two.

A guy was meant to be coming round today to service my boiler, so I put my plants outside to get rid of the smell. The git didn't show up so my poor plants were out for like 6 hours. Fortunately it didn't rain loads and was quite bright, but it was cold! I don't think anything bad will come from it, just less growth than they could of had under my lights.

I found this light brown/gold spot on one of my leaves. Never seen it before, anyone know what it could be?

They are starting to rocket up now. I've noticed that the stem is thickening much faster than what it did with CFL's which is good coz towards the end of most my grows the plants would start to lean.

1st 0ff nice plants! It's good to see people nourishing their plants properly. 2nd how did you get your stalks beefy so quickly? I place my plant(s) outside sometimes, I have 2 250watts HPS hitting it and still my stalk(s) don't beef up like that-I get good flowers however! May I ask what does your medium consist of? It doesn't look as thick but resembles something such as "Mapito" - correct me if I'm wrong?

Thanks man!
For the fat stems I really don't know the biology of it that well. I think it might be the fact that the stem has to resist against the fan blowing on it, so it builds new cells around the xylem to thicken itself up. It'll be down to genetics as well. I had some MI-5's which has beastly stems and others where I need to support them with a cane. So yeah, just use a cane if your plants lean, it's not a bad thing.
It's just good old fashioned compost from my garden centre, nothing special in it.

I started feeding them black treacle today, I couldn't find any molasses but they're pretty much the same thing. Treacle still has a decent amount of Mg and Ca.

Plants continue to look nice Jamie, keep it up! Although my stalks don't beef up like I would like them to, leaning seems to not be an issue at all for me. I just want them bigger....I can now see a difference in regards to speed of growth when using higher wattage@an early stage. I put my little babies in the same area where my budding plant is(500watts) and man did they take off! Pictures and vids coming soon....

I got a hygrometer thing today and I'm running at 25 degrees and 35% humidity. I also saw a thing in one of the forums about increasing CO2 levels. You basically mix yeast, sugar and water and it makes ethanol and CO2. So i've got that in a bottle with a hole poked into the lid.
I'm noticing a good bit of stretch between the upper nodes, is this a problem?
