I wouldn't be too concerned about those lowest leaves showing a bit yellow like that... It looks like maybe it's getting a bit too much watering? That could cause lower leaves to yellow like that...

They are getting bigger by the day. I cannot wait untill I can take clones and really get started.
Yeah I know the feeling! Got some new seedlings going (my first good genetic grow) and pretty stoked to really get going with some clones! How many are you going to take of each? Also do you plan on flowering the clones or the mother? Due to limited space for my veg room I usually take clones, make sure they survive after a few days then flower the mothers, the clones become new mothers; repeat the process.

I wanna taste of my girls as soon as possible. I am going to take about four or five cuttings. Three of Afgan Kush, Two from the white widow. I then will grow one mother from each strain from the clones. So one mother for white widow and one for afgan kush. Leaving me three plants to veg to go into flowering and two flowering scog (the two from seed that I took cuttings from).

Day 30,

Humidity 50%
Ph 7

Watered again with a little dissolved dolomite lime ph 7 water. Girls are looking bigger by the day. The only thing is the white widow is not stretching at all. Very compact. I think I could be getting faster growth.

here are some pics. The first set is of Afgan the second set is of the White Widow.

Wow they are growing nice! Those dying lower leaves look like they may have been sitting in the wet soil after a watering. Whatever it is, doesnt matter they look great!

Day 31

Okay so I checked the ph with a Ph pin meter (accuracy +-0.001). And my soil is at 8 ph. I should have not watered with dolomite lime. I think it will be better once I feed again. Also I put up my 400 Watt MH and now the girls have more light :)

The 400w MH should help those WW to come up a little - nice compact nodes from the start is a good sign though...

hey dude a phosphate buffer neutralizes the phosphate in the fertilizer the middle letter of N-P-K is the phosphate content in other words you are deleting a necessary and vital nutrient that the plant needs.get your water from one of those machines in front of grocery store it is reverse osmosis ond u.v. filtered. also use G.H. ph adjusters because natural adjusters work but are often temporary.

Day 35

Oh shit, oh shit... okay so on Saturday the girls were looking very droopy, they were wilting. The soil was very dry and I said to myself, soil is dry because of that extra heat from the MH. So I watered/fed my girls. I fed with low diluted nutes. I watered until a little bit of run off. I ph checked the water at 6.6 Then I check them today and the WW is freken going brown on me fast. The soil was dry again so I watered with some 7.8 Ph Sams club water from Wal-Mart. I watered until allot of runoff hoping to leach the soil a little in case of nute burn. Then I moved the MH light further up in case it was heat stress or burn from the MH lights. So what do you guys think. The Afgan Kush is still droopy..WTF. I am scared for my girls. The first pics are of the WW which is the shorter more compact girl. The second is of Afgan which is just droopy.

Day 37

Temp: 79
Hum: 48%
Soil: Dry
Water: 250mL

Yep my girls are getting better. I really have to say that it was the MH lights that did the harm. Other than that I sure wish my WW would start spreading out some. And I thought that the ladies should be a little taller 36 days into the grow.... I watered a little today because the soil meter read a little dry. The Humidity and temp are always between 70-82 F 40-56% H

Find a saltwater fish store and get your freshwater from them its run through a lot of filtration and you can get it 5 gallons at a time and its usually stripped down to 10 or 20 ppm of tds. it might help you be more consistent with the ph issues. it will be at about 5.8 to 6.0ph, figure less chemicals the better the taste.
