Afgan Kush, White Widow--Virgin Op

Hello Everyone!!
This is my very first grow and I would appreciate any comments or suggestions from anyone willing to post. So feel free to post.
I am growing female White Widow and Afgan Kush strains. In the pic the larger seedling is the Afgan Kush and the smaller is the White Widow. They both popped within 18 hours of each other. Both plants are 10 Days old. I am now running a 400 Watt T5s right now for my two seedlings. Once they are a little bigger I will build my grow tent out of Panda Film and PVC Pipe. Then I will cover with Mylar. I already have the Mylar. Is there something else I can use for the panda film that is light proof.? After my tent is up I will put them under my 400 Watt MH. My grow tent will be large, large enough for a mother/veg room and a flower room. After my girls are large enough I am taking clones and going to get them in an Aeroponics system I am going to build. Because I will only keep a few plants at a time so I think I will be going with the scrog technique but am open to suggestions regarding High yield training with a limited amount of plants. Sooo here are the pics. I think the Afgan girl is a little yellow, what do you think. I am not worried right now though. The pans are filled with water, I am battling very low humidity levels of around only 35%. I have no idea how to fix this.

Just watered today, the afgan Kush is not growing more yellow so I think we are okay. The White Widow has a redish stem though. Is this a bad thing?

Okay it’s been three days since my last post.
Day 19
I have been letting my soil get a little dry before watering. I want to make sure not to over water and encourage my roots to search. I have a cheap three in one meter that is shown stuck in the soil in the pics. The meter gives readings on PH levels, light and moister. I doubt that it does a good job for anything and believe it does nothing regarding Ph levels. I only use it for moister level readings. So I do not know what my Ph is for my soil but have a Ph pin that I am waiting for calibration solution so I can use it. Can you stick the pin into the soil and it give an accurate reading? Or is there another way I should do it? Right now I just make sure and water the plants with a Ph of around 7, purified water. I say around because I only have a liquid Ph tester and that cannot give very accurate results. I would like to keep accurate reading on my Ph. I do not use any ferts because the soil I bought already was pre treated. I believe the soil after some leaching I did before planting my seeds should be in the 0.004 N range. I am really afraid of burning my plants at this stage. I don’t know though. I think my Afgan Kush is looking a little yellow. The Afgan is the bigger plant after the first four pics. I don’t want to feed yet because I know they are delicate. But this is what I got so far, just wanted to keep the whole 23 people who have seen this grow updated :-?. I am not sure when I should move to my 400W MH, any ideas. Ill be building my gorw tent in a few weeks or so. Very busy with work right now. To all you vets out there….How are my plants looking?

Day 20,

I watered my girls today with about 295mL of Sam's choice purified water. I am not expecting the girls to need watering again for another two days. My Afgan Kush is looking even more yellow, I am now starting to get worried. Also on three leaves there are tiny dark spots on the sides. I think it might just be from being too close to the T5 though…I hope at least. Burn spots??? I ran out of Batt today so I could not take pics. I will have them up tomorrow though so everyone can see and give an opinion. I hope it's nothing. BTW my White widow is starting to yellow some.... Maybe I should feed??? What does everyone think???

Day 21,

Here are the pics. The White widow continues to grow yellow. The Afgan Kush now has another hard to see brown spot this time on the middle of the leaf. You can see the spots on the side of the leaf in a few pics. First pics are of White Widow, second set of the Afgan Kush.

Day 22,

Aw come on guys, help me out. Shit is getting worse. I put up pics of my afgan kush. What does it look like to you guys, Ph or under fert. I found this stuff at the local pet fish store called Discuss Buffer. It is a phosphate buffer (whatever that is, but says on the label) that keeps PH between 5.8 and 6.8 in a fish tank. I was going to mix it in with my next watering. But I am afraid it could kill my plants. Please throw me a bone guys.

Looks like an over worried parent! They look fine man.

Day 23,

you think soo? What about all that yellowing and brown on the bottom leaves??? I added about a table spoon of Dolomite lime. I pulverized it and mixed it into water and then watered until runoff. After I fed my plants with BC Nutrients and supplements. I made sure the feed was ph at about 7. By the way I got the humidity to about 50% using a humidifier.

ok i have a ? how much water do you give them? those things need a good soaking every time you water. and quit fuck'n around so much.

I have a moister meter and water when it shows that the soil is kind of dry. I used to only water about 300 mL of water. Now I will start watering till runoff since they are bigger. I am not sure what you mean by stop fuckin around. What am I doing that I should stop.

That's all good. They will grow fine without so much worrying about them. They are easy to grow and I don't think you have any problems that need correcting. IMO

You mentioned using water at 7.0. You could reduce that down a little - like 6. Other than that there's nothing you can do but watch them grow at this stage.

Day 24

I Forgot to put these oics up yesterday. Here are my girls. The biger gal is the Afgan Kush and the smaller one is the White widow. these pics were one day after feeding. Today (Day 25) I looked at them and the bottom leaves were dying but I did not have my camera.

G13 White Widow from attitude seeds. Attitude rocks. I am going to have more pics up later today. Stay tuned. I want someone to tell me if the bottom leaves dying like that is normal or if there is some problem.

Some more pics
