Hi fellow growers!

As a complete newbee in the wonderful world of growing I need to ask you guys a question. I got 2 Short riders, 5 weeks old doing good flowering.

Both plant´s are 35 cm ( 14 inch), living in Soil/perlite. I have treated both of the plants the same way. One of the plants is totally OK. But the other plant´s leafs are showing crusty brown leaf tips, and a slight yellow color working its way to the tips. It started at the bottom leafs and slowly working it´s way up. And some of the leaf tips is pointing down.

I water when the " water probe " start to show red, usual 3-4 days. I water so I get a litle water from the holes at the bottom

I started to give the lady´s Canna terra Bloom @ week 3. 2,5ml/L (recommended is 5ml/L). Did this 2 times. But stopped and watered without nutes (last time i watered).

I have read about gradually raise the nutes. But as a beginner sometimes it´s hard to know how high or low to start. How long is a string ?

The ph of the water is 6,5. Humidity 10-30%. temp between 20-31 C (68-87 F)

Intresting is that the 2 plants does not look uniform, but I have read on this glorious forum that AF from Nirvana is not special stable.

Is it Nuteburn ? are there other deficensys that can make the tips go brown and crusty?

It's a little hard to diferentiate between nutrient burn and deficiency on such a small plant. If it got/gets worse after giving it just water, then it's a deficiency and you should feed it more. If it gets better, it was nutrient burn. While there is one pic of most of it, try to include pics that show the entire plant, right out to the leaf tips.

Thanks, I will try to get a better photo. So the leaf tips can look dried with nut deficency ?

I have a similar problem except I'm getting yellowing running through the top shoots/leaves only, the cf of the run off is always off the scale, I'm using Canna Vega under a 600watt hps...help?!
