Aeroponics?

During the flowering stage does the submersible pump need to be on during the dark stage? I generally wouldnt think to water them during the night cycle.
Any advice or experience with this system (Aeroflo) would be much appreciated.

all water pumps for recirculating the nutrients stay on all the time, what kind of system are you running?
Thanks for the responses.
I figured as much not to water during the night cycle but w/ aeroflos technology it is to spray the roots in the tubes as the roots hang in the air.
I know now that they are to be sprayed once for 1 hr during the night stage.

If you're in a sealed chamber with high pressure I don't know but when I ran rails (NFT) I never turned my pump off and the one time it failed it was ugly after a few hours. I recommend keeping an extra pump on hand and NEVER turning that pump off except for the time you're in there changing your reservoir.

Get you a timer that can do 1 minute on 4 minutes off , you will get the best results with this technique when doing aeroponics
