Aeroponics to soil

I've been testing a lot of new things when it to my years of growing, I'm mostly a outdoors grow in the sun kind of guy but my next grow I want to try something different.

I want to start of my plants in a aeroponic system months before I sow outside in order to get a big rooting system from it then throw it in a big pot, then slowly train it to the outdoors conditioning before throwing it in the soil.

I'm wondering if this is possible at all, I have seen and heard of people doing it for little plants but i'm looking for big time root mass to transplant.

I'm going to be doing it regardless but if anyone has had experience doing this suggestions and/or pointers would be great!

ya you'll be fine. I use an aero cloner for all clones and have gone to soil, coco, hydroton with no problems. Don't let the root mass get too big though or they can get stressed

how big is too big of a root mass in your opinion and stress wont be an issue it'll have plenty of time to recover, its whether or not it will flat out die on me is the question

Well you don't want stress at all it's never good but they're your plants. Get them transplanted before they hit 2ft

I mean if its in veg in the beginning of my locations grow season stress wont be an issue because it'll have more than 3 months to kick the effects of any stress they'll endure.
