Aeroponics system for 1 pound plant

Low pressure Aeroponics is common for clones and small one oz plants, but I cannot find anyone growing single 1 pound plants in aero. I have experience growing large plants in top feed / rockwool grow cubes. But I don't have experience with these monsters in aero.

Have you seen anyone growing giant plants indoors in aeroponics?

I posted some pictures of a draft system I put together for this, but I've changed it slightly. I'll post pictures of the new system soon. If anyone knows of someone growing big plants in aeroponics, please let me know.

Thanks

The biggest thing for a huge plant is veg time. I run lp aero with conssistant 4-6oz plants with 24-30 days of veg. The right strain with the right training method and the right veg time will easily pull big yields with the proper environment.

I totally agree with superstoner1. I run DWC and my last grow I had a major training malfunction and I still managed to pull 8.5 oz. and that was in a 5 gal bucket. Time: allow the plant to grow big enough, space: make sure you have enough of it in your bucket for the roots and above for the canopy, light: don't think you'll pull a pound off a 400 watt light either (not saying that's what you're using) and love will get you there. What i just said goes for any growing medium inside and out. And high temps in flowering will make your buds airy. CONTROL THOSE TEMPS! And once the roots reach the water it's kinda redundant to have the sprayers going. Other than that good luck man.

Thanks Mike. 8.5 in a 5 gal bucket is a nice pull. Congrats. It might be kind of hard to see in the picture, but in this container, I have a bottom that keeps the roots up out of the water.

Thanks for chiming in, stoner. I appreciate your input. I do have much experience growing large 1+ pound plants (6 gallon containers / top feed rockwool grow cubes). I totally agree veg time IS the most important factor to huge yield. My current grow method is simple and produces well. I should probably stick with it, but I get bored doing the same thing over and over.

I guess my main question is... in this container, will the root mass will become so big that there will be dead spots within the root ball? Do you guys know anyone who is growing one pound plants in aero? Stoner, I would be interested in seeing your system where you grow 4-6oz plants in lp aero.

I went thru 10 pages of chit chat, could not find anything. I see see the fence post set up though.

Thanks for the input. I'm more interested in big ones anyway. I'll keep scouring around to see if I can find anyone growing 1 pounders in aero. But at some point, I'll circle back to our profile and check out the posts you've made.

I grow with HP aero and hit 2 lbs with 2 plants. Use 110 psi pump and 50 micron misters. No solenoids or expensive equipment. Last harvest was 33 oz and no co2. 3 1/2 week veg, scrog training, 1000 watt cool tube, and Dutch Master line nutes.
