Aeroponics: problem with clones

Dear fellow growers,

we just received our new batch of CBD clones and this doesn't look well. Due to stress of the plants and some mistakes clones doesn't grow as they should.
As for the current conditions we have:
Light - LED lamps around 100W
Water temp aeroponics - 14 degrees
Temp on Rockwool/roots - around 16 degrees
pH - 5.58
EC - 0.55

Nutrients, we put half of required amount:
Plagron A+B
Power Roots
Pure Zym

We add additionally H2O2 to the water. Water in the Rez is after Osmosis. The pH went a bit down, we will adjust it to be around 6.0, as for the EC value we will adjust it to be around 0.8-1.0. The temp was low due to cold night, normally we keep it around 14-18 degrees Celsius.
I attached some pictures, let me know what you think.

Thank you!

One thing that stands out to me is the temperatures, to me 18c is more a minimum temperature.

You need temperature to keep water evaporating through the leafs in turn drawing up nutrient, sort of like a wick loosely speaking.

man they have roots
transplant them in a more serious hydro system
Yes they do, but too many of them died in the process already, I know it can be due to stress and also there is some root rot visible. I think it is because of Rockwool, we always had some stories with it. I think easy plug are much better to grow.

18C is the temp of water, the room is about 23-25 degrees. Learning by doing, this is the motto of our company :D

you don't have root rot
they just dried out in contact to air

i repeat myself
you must transplant them in another system
they wont grow anymore in this

looks like they are recovering pretty well, the roots are growing back again.
I also had an experience with rock wool, when plants showed a lack of oxygen, although the roots weakly came out of the wool. I transplanted these clones into soil and they were rehabilitated, but for aeroponics I try not to use wool at all, or at least separate as much as possible. In fact, it turned out that the wool absorbed water and did not allow most of the roots to feed on air.

almost 2 months later, we performed a surgery and cut out the Rockwool, the plant roots regenerate really fast. As I would advice to other companies using that, never use Rockwool, because it soaks with water and then you get the root rot easily. What we do now is, grow the seeds in easy plug and then before putting them on the table, we cut it out. Wish you all, that it grows high and wide :)

I'm not an aeroponics guy so I have to ask: Why use plugs of any sort and not just collars? Seems like the plugs are just causing problems, are an expense in money if you are doing a lot, and then you have to spend the time cutting them off each one (which probably also isn't optimal for the roots to have to go through)?

Saturated rockwool in Aero is not adviceable. In Aero you're supposed to use neoprene pucks. Why destroy what's good about Aero with roots having access to oxygen at all times and overwatering as a result is impossible? Stop looking at videos on YouTube if that's your platform for informaton. Good luck!

Thank you for your replies guys! Since we grow it from the seeds, we need some medium for the rooting. Later after the plants are ready, we cut the plugs and use the neoprene. So far this is what we have learned ourselves, if you guys have some ideas, how to improve the first step, I am all ears :)

Nope doesn't need any medium. There's not a problem to sprout and transplant sprouted seeds directly in the neoprene pucks. I don't do it but Ive seen it and know it can be done. I start mom's in soil and run clones in Aero.

when would you suggest to do that and what would be the steps? Is it like:
1. Put the seeds into water for 18h
2. Take them out and put on a paper towel for 2-3days
3. Take the sprouted seed and plant into neoprene pucks?

I'm oldschool so I do the dreadful paper towel method. I like mine to sprout a little longer than most. I know "Dstroy" on here used to start new seeds directly in the neoprene pucks in Aero. Check out his journals, I think it's from somewhere around 2016. Cheers!
