Aeroponics and AN's Piranha/Tarantula/Voodoo Juice

I've been looking into Advanced Nutrients' Piranha, Tarantula, and Voodoo Juice lately and was just wondering if it's possible to use them with a diy aeroponic setup. The AN website says its for hydroponics but it doesn't mention anything about aeroponics and whether it would clog misters. Does anyone have experience with these products?

Well Voodoo Juice is a liquid and both Piranha and Tarantula are powders. I can't imagine Voodoo Juice causing any clogging problems, but I've heard of some issues with the other two not dissolving as nicely as people would like. I haven't used any of them in aeroponics so it hasn't been a problem for me, but I'd recommend doing a tea bag type of thing for the powders. Put them in a little teabag kind of thing and just hang it in the reservoir (use a quality tea bag material - don't just dump some powder in a sock or something). That'll help filter out the particles that could clog things, but still let the microbes through.

Yeah, hooked is right. I've never used any sort of powder nutrient or supplement in my aero system. Liquids only...

Strictly speaking Piranha and Tarantula aren't nutrients, they're additives. (They're beneficial microbes.) The objective with putting them in the reservoir is to get them to multiply and colonize the water/roots to protect your plants against the naughty microbes.

If you put the powder in tight-weave sack like a reusable tea bag, it'll keep the big particles out of the water while allowing the good critters to wake up and swim free. If you're using really small micron sprayers the microbes themselves might clog stuff up but I can't imagine that being a serious problem. Microbes are teeny tiny.
