All the information you are looking for can be answered with some searches...but alas, it's not the first, nor the last.

Here are some steps though:
Put some water in your cloner
Get some cuttings from your mums
Put those cuttings in the cloner
Sit back, and wait (4-20 or more days)

It's not really that simple, but you don't need to make it complicated either. Keep your tools and hands as sterilized as possible. The rooting gels and powders aren't necessary for the cloner. Keep your water clean through water changes, h2o2, uv light...

As for lights, I'd recommend cfls at a minimum...but old garage shop floro tubes will work. MH lights or hps light are too much. Don't overdo the light for cloning.
Nutes...NONE are needed, but a LITTLE rooting compound wouldn't hurt.
No dome is needed...unless it's really hot and dry. I live in the desert...and still don't need one btw.
As for the spray...I go 1 minute on 5 minutes off, but that answer will vary.

Good luck, chill, and others will eventually post some thoughts.

i've never heard of aerophonics? is i like an areo hydroponics that that somehow generates an uber fine micron system via audio vibrations? maybe its the the vibration corresponds with the hindu 'aum', what they believe to be the exact audio frequency in which the earths energy creates? or maybe aerophonics makes use of the brown note for a aero system that will make you shit your pants? I dont know nothing about nothing, but I think you might be on to something.

I think it was a typo for aeroponics, but maybe not. Either way I think there is something there as well. Different sound vibration frequencies have proven to be more beneficial than others over and over again. I tested this on seed germination, never have for cloning, would be interesting.

For my normal cloning routine in an aerocloner I use clonex, h2o2, hygrozyme, and Aquaclear or whatever the product is called by Botanicare that has the beneficial bacteria. I do use a dome as I've seen better results with and I do spray the cuttings and inside of the dome once in the beginning. That seems to keep it humid enough for them. A regular florescent shop light fixture is more than adequate for your clones.

plain water with no nutes, no dome needed, 1 min on 5 min off works well, or if you have cheap timer 15/15

so i dont use clonex or nutes or dome just water ph,d 5.5 / 6.0

then just wait ?????????
I've been aerocloning for years... I get 100% results.

First off - keep everything clean!!! After thoroughly cleaning with soap and water. Run a mild bleach solution through your aerocloner (5% bleach 95% water) for about 15 minutes. Run two more rinse runs for 15 minutes each with plain water. Repeat a third time if any bleach smell is still present.

Fill your cloner with RO water with a bit of Botanicare CalMag to 150PPM. If your tap is under 300PPM - you can use that. If your tap is higher than 300PPM, you can add tap water to RO water until it is about 150 - 200PPM. The perfect water temp is 73F.... If your unit is in a cold garage or basement, an aquarium water heater could be used. In most cases, keeping the water cool is more of a challenge. To this end, a cycle timer set to 4 on 1 off (or 5/1, 3/1) will reduce the heat generated by the pump (and provide even more oxygen). For cloning, 24/7 irrigation is fine - and this will help keep temps up if you are in a cold room. Beyond the CalMag (if you need it), don't add any nutes to your mix. Ph to 5.8.

Do not use a humidome with aerocloners! This is another great advantage of aerocloning - plants do not have to be hardened off.

When taking your cuts, try to leave 2 nodes above the collar and 2 nodes below... in any event, be sure to leave, at least 1/2 inch of stem below the netcup. I usually cut the bottom out of my netcups too - but this is not required... this helps with long-stemmed cuts. Dip the cut in Clonex is fine (but not required) - but don't add any additional Clonex to the mix. Also - use the Clonex sparingly - too much of it can acutally inhibit root growth... just dip the end in Clonex and let the excess run off before sticking.

That's it, Buddy!

I use homemade cloner/veg units... (I clone and veg in the same unit). From there, I go into custom Flower units to finish - all in the same 2" net cup! Easy as pie!

:weed:take cuts

:weed:put in soaked PHed rapid rooters or rockwool

:weed:put into system make sure they remain wet

:weed:keep PH around 6. i usually use plain water without nutes till flowering

:weed:i keep 24/7 floros on system with temp around 70 degrees

:weed:hood can be put to increase humidity on but is not required.

:weed:veg until root hit water or ready to flower

:hump: 100% rate

rep if respected :joint: jerk it

I use 3 off /1 on to start... increasing to 4:30 off / 1 on. In veg and flower I use 5/1.

Clonex has nothing to do with the ends turning to mush... this is from rot of some sort... usually stem rot. Clonex (or any rooting compound) is not necessary in the aerocloner - but it usually speeds roots by several days.
