i aggree with loud these thing cost what 200 bucks for a 4pot ag? im buying 4 complete 6pot dwc bubblers for 160.00, im not tryin to bash people that do use the ag im just sayin that their money would be spent wisely on somthingelse.
They have 7 pods but can only hold 2-4 fully grown plants. They are best used for starting plants and clones. $160 for a DWC sounds expensive for a Rubbermaid tub, a water pump, tubing, a fish pump, a air stone and some net cups and hydrotons. You can build one for about $50. Check this site out before you spend that kind of cash SH Hydroponics > Bubbleponics™ Systems . Here are step by step instruction to build your own http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/PDF_Files/Bubbleponics_and_Dual_Spectrum_Lights.pdf
You can buy everything at home depot and any pet store. The only thing you will need to get from a hydro shop are your nutes, hydrotons, net cups and lighting.

I found this site while doing a search on growing because kind bud is just to damn expensive to keep buying. As far as the AG goes it seemed like a good small area beginners model( like training wheels). So i'vee been here a few times to get some info...at this point from now on this site will not be used any longer.

Thats being said I must say that most of you on this site are a bunch of DICKS but thats pobably why the comp is your best friend. I have found a much friendly site that I will use from now on...... and to the few ( and you know who you are)

GO F@%K yourselves I hope you get busted dick heads.

My question on this thread is why do the AG haters, hate so much? its fine if you disagree with people supporting the AG but lets try to provide contructive criticism for those looking to start with the AG.

Those of you who hate it seem to really hate it with a passion:evil: whats that all about Loudblunts?

Hi guys I'm just getting into growing for the first time and have taken a lot of consideration of the aerogarden mainly because of the size and it seems relatively easy to grow in it. I've got some blueberry and was wondering if anyone has grown that in an aerogarden? Well any advice or tips would be great and if not for the AG possibly give me a good idea on what to get for a relatively small closet grow. Thanks guys

if you havn't bought the ag yet, don't, spend that 200 on a small dwc bubbler or something and a hid light you can get those off ebay/net for about than a hundered, so there you go dwc and a 400w light. much better than the ag.

I agree with loud, fletch and some of the other "haters"...but, they are ok as "MommyGardens"...The res is way too small, I can't even leave this thing for a day...as soon as all my moms are established in soil, I'm killing them and growing what they are intended for...Herbs.

The set up I made only cost me about $40.00 and now that I'm learning, the 5 gallon bucket is almost too small. Thinking of going to a 15 gallon.

Anyway, to each his own, its your time!

You could go on craiglist and buy a 400/600 or 1000w setup for $150 if you look hard and make your own hydro system out of a rubbermaid storage container or whatever for like $10=) and yield probably 40x-100x what you did with that POS... But if you like to waste money on stuff hey why not=)
