i'm on my first aerogarden experiment. i started 7 seeds in the ag. all sprouted.some took off better than others. i took the best 2 and put them in dwc under 400w hps, after 2 weeks.wow did they grow with ph at 6 and fox farm big grow at 1/2 strength. well after 4 weeks i put 3 more from the ag into dwc. the ag plants were weak and light green with stalks that are 1/2 the size of the dwc under 400 hps. soooo! the moral of this story is that the ag is a great seedstarter set up(salad green setting and an extra airstone) but it doesn't have the light needed to make deep dark lush well rooted plants. i added a 70 watt hps for 3 weeks and it didnt help growth much. all the seeds sprouted; what a great little sprouting machine but if you want large dankness you must remove them before they get rootbound in the ag.the pics show the 2 ag started and put in dwc after 4 weeks(awesome roots) the dwc bucket with 3 in it are just put in dwc and show the diffirence between 4 weeks in dwc and 4weeks in the ag. i put one seed only in the ag just for fun and it sprouted right up (sweet) hope i help someone.
