AeroGarden Pro200 1st Time Grow: 1 Feminized Violator Kush, 1 Feminized White Widow

I'm a little worried about my Fem. Violator Kush and my Fem. White Widow. Its prolly nothin but just wanted to ask. The seeds have completely been shedded off but little remaining parts are pinching the "starter" leaves together. I tried to help scrap it off but just decided to quite that shit, I'm afraid I'll damage them! All the Power Skunks are doing fine though.... It just sucks the Kush and Widow are my 2 Feminized, they are the ones that germinated first, and they started sprouting first but now there falling behind because this damn seed thing!! I attached a pic of both of them the first is the Violator Kush the second is the White Widow and the third is all of them. Any Help? Thanks

don't worry about it and don't touch it. It's like a baby dinosaur with the shell still attached - the mother dinosaur wouldn't touch the egg shell but the dinosaur would eventually get rid of the shell. Don't touch it and don't worry it will work its way off.

I just had a Violator Kush seed die on me too. bummer.
She Ai'nt Dead Yet,, But She Ai'nt Moving Either -LOL
Its been about four days like this. But honetly today she might look a little better. I'll post a pic of her a little later tonight.

had the base AG model and had 5 pods going...i didn't do enough research and made some rookie mistakes and i was forced to throw out 5 fallen soldiers...RIP...haha
just got the AG pro200 and i'm super stoked...just started it a few hours ago with 3 pods going...one in back left, one in back right, and one in the middle...got it set on the 24 hour...got a fan in the space for air movement...ph kit...
but what is this "airstone" i've been reading about and where can i find one...also i had a problem with mold at the base of the pod...what's the best way to avoid a moldy situation...

Your welcome coffee? If you ever need any help just ask! The airstone helps give more oxygen to your roots once they get bigger and start hanging in the water. You can purchase a basic 4 inch fishtank airstone and the fishtank air hose at amost any fish/pets store or Wal-Mart. Also you can purchase a small 10 gallon fishtank pump at the same places. What kind of greens are ya growin? Are they feminized if not you might wana start with more. What kind of Nutrients are you using?

I think the Fem. Violator Kush (Front Far Left) looks a little better. Still no huge growth from it yet but maybe just a little. The second picture is of her. I hate how the seeds pinched the poor girls together but the Fem. White Widow (Front Far Right) seems to just be growing around that problem! -LOL She's in the third picture. All the Power Skunks are just growing there nuts off, Atleast lets hope so! -LOL a close-up of one of them is in the fourth picture. There still on AeroGarden "Herb" nutes for about 7 more days then I'm draining and using my better stuff. (General Hydroponics FloraGrow, FloraMicro, FloraBloom) Let me know what you all think so far!

thanks KS...i'll definitely look in to the airstone...this is the first time i've tried to grow...when i first heard of the AG i figured it would be great for grow...i'm just a noob when it comes grow...been smokin for many years so figured i'd try somethin else...
i used the small nutes the AG came with and i'm going to change to the flora nutes at the end of the first 2 weeks...what was the website you got those from KS???
as far as the greens...like i said i'm a noob to growing...just using seeds i have from previous bags...the seeds are not too dark with tiger striping, it looks to me...so i really don't know if they're feminized...i want to buy seeds online but it sketches me out...should i be wary of buying seeds or is it straight...
sidenote: how do i tell if the plant is female or male....

Hell yeah man, thats a sweet set-up if you got room for that many plants, more power to ya. Just make sure you have some GREAT lights and Good Nutes! I decided Aeroponics is my favorite way to grow. Its the fastest too!
StealthHydro has some great light/grower kit comboes. If you havnt already,, check them out also.

I ordered my Nutes online at www.plantitearth.com but alot of people recommend Fox Farm Nutes. You can order them online at www.hydroasis.com and other sites as well but there a little more expensive. The PlantItEarth website seem to be a great site and i've seen other people using the same stuff. Just got to the site and click "Natural Nutrients" I bought the "General Hydroponics Flora Kit" its $19.95 for 1 pint of all three Nutes. They come with a feeding chart to thats shows you how much to feed per "1 US Gallon" the AeroGarden is 14 cups and a Gallon is 16 Cups. I over fill my AeroGarden Resivore a little past the "fill to here line" with about 2 extra cups of water. So its pretty much dead on with what the feeding chart says!! (EASY!) The site has everything you could possibly need for Hydroponics also! I got my PH kit there to.
As far as seeds go, man i feel ya. I was the same way. I just finally said fuck it and ordered from a site that said they ship worldwide! I dont have a P.O. Box, I just ordered straight to my house (USA). Next thing I now about a week later I got a little pink package in the mail with a T-Shirt and all my Feminized Girlies!!!! just trust in them and make sure you use the "Guarrented Shipping with T-Shirt" option during checkout! Give it about 2 weeks and I bet youll get a little surprise to!
You cant tell the sex of your plants until you start flowering. Just do a quick google search and it should help ya... If not I'll explain more to ya when needed.
P.S. But you can order feminized seeds!

The Feminized Violator Kush is definatly gonna make it! 100% positive! She looks a hell of alot better and definatly has grown! I went ahead and turnded on my 40 Watt 4 Foot FL Lights 1 night ago and they hella grew overnight. They all loved that shit! -LOL So I'm gonna keep it on along with the AeroGarden light on 24/0.
QUICK QUESTION:
Do I need to completly change my AeroGarden water? If so how often? I've been using the AeroGarden "Herb" nutes for the last 3 weeks and they have 1 week of that left and I am planning on changing to better nutes! I figured that would be a good time to drain and refill since I'm completly changing Nute brand and types. But I'm a little scared. whad up KSG! looking good so far, It is a must that you change the res every 7-10 days. I have no experience with the AG but I would....Find something to suspend the lid with the roots dangling, be careful, rinse the res and add water(RO or distilled), add the GH Flora series nutes. I would start with the 'seedling' dose and work your way up as the plants need, keeping the ppm around 300 to start. I belive the amount is 2.5ml of each, add micro to res then stir, add flora then stir, and then the bloom,stir. The nutes should bring the ph to a proper level, if not just adjust it.That it!
I would not wait another week to change the res, that light is going to make them grow like crazy and they are going to need respectable nutrients. hope this helped my friend.

I went out of town over the weekend and my plants have grown hella! They have a little nutrient burn so I completly drained and refilled with distilled water. I used the General Hydroponics Flora Series Nutes this time, about 2.5ml of each (seedling dose)
