i have 2 plants going great after just 3 weeks and little crowns popping up everywhere i have the settings on tomatoes and manually turn the light on after its off for 3 hrs. I went to a hydro shop after reading how crap the nute tabs were and they hooked me up with their own blend (looked like a couple of stoners so trusted their advice) they told me they heard mixed reviews also, but glad to say plants are short and stumpy and growing great havent had to heighten my light yet and i have some mint growing alongside the plants to add a nice minty taste. Ive had bad luck growing outdoors (theft, gardeners accidently spraying weed killer on it etc) so i thought the aero garden would be the best. It in my opinion for a non experienced grower is awesome and very hard to stuff up if u follow these simple rules... 1. dont use the nute tabs most posts i see where people use them they have probs and switch to liquid nutes pretty quickly
2.the lights on the ag hood are fine till budding stage then go out and get some stronger lights bout $100 (till then place cardboard wrapped in tinfoil to reflect most light back at your plants)
3.the best advise u can really get is from people in the hydroponics grow shops u can spot the most likley andidate to help u when u walk in and be honest they probably grow it themselves)
