AeroGarden Deluxe (1st grow ever)

'Sup everyone?

Just got my AG Deluxe today...
Gonna pop in 7 bagseeds seeds that are germinated and ready to go...
I have no extra lights, no nutes (except the ones that came with the AG), and no experience...

Has anyone done a grow in the AG like that before?

I know I won't get a huge yield, and the plants won't grow to their potential...
Just wanna experiment though...

Has anyone done that before?

Any advice besides "get lights", etc?

id say...(based on what i was told to do)
get more lights
a figure 8 chord (to extend the hood when the plans get bigger)
a timer to get the lights to do 12/ 12 eventully after 4- 6 weeks
mylar
fan
spray bottle
bottled water
ph tester

Picked up a PH meter and an air rock today...
I'm going to officially start the grow tomorrow...
I will post pics and update every day if possible...

It's going to be an interesting grow...
The bag of seeds I termed the babies from is a mixture of smoke I've collected over about 2 years...
I have no idea which strains the babies are...

No way man! I'm in the exact same situation. I threw my bagseeds in there 4 days ago and I'm really pleased with what I've seen so far. Let's share this forum, so all the awesome people helping us out won't have to post twice. Best luck!

I'm doing almost the exact same thing you are. A friend of mine who's grown before told me to pick off the ridged leaves, but since I did that, growth has effectively stopped. Should I pick a fight with him next time I see him or is it normal to have a plateau? I believe this is day 9 since I first began the seeds.

i was wondering where i could find mylar or foylon, i checked home depot, lowes, target, kmart, and petco(just in case that has it) and no one has it.

go to a dollar store or a store with wraping papper or those mylar balloons. OPEN UP some of the rolls and see if the back is completely blank . hang that shit up

ya im at the flowering stage in my first ag grow its not hard at all jus use all the advice theese guys give the help out a lot mane good luck wit the grow homie ill be here checkin up

would i be able to take a balloon and tear it open so that its a sheet? or would that creat hotspots? thanks btw

I looked up the ag stock and its at .18, i don't know what that means, is it 18 cents or what cause if so i think we all outta but shares in it, ya know if they got the patton and tha shit decrims, then they'll have the pat. on the device. Lets stop buying sacks that give the shady people cheese.

Sorry about the lack of updates...
Power went out here and the internet was down for near a week...

The original seedlings died..., so I germed 7 more and they all popped...
Those are all in the AG now and doing GREAT...
All of them have roots reaching down into the reservoir already...
The tallest is 2 inches, and the shortest is just under and inch tall...

Pics coming tomorrow or Friday...

Complete clusterfuck of diff types of seeds I've collected over the years...

thats how my last grow was, 5 different strain, i say the more the better, too much of one thing gets old
