I started an aerogarden with 2 strains, both auto flowers, one that is big devil and the other is grassomatic ak 47. i have a different setup running other auto strains and one of the smurfberry plants was stunted from pop of seed. it was in dirt for 3 weeks and didn't get to a 3rd node. i wanted to play with it and started a side project. thought i would share. here is to be up to date pictures, from start to today, its only been 12 days since transplant.Photo on 5-25-12 at 4.25 PM.jpgPhoto on 5-27-12 at 10.38 AM.jpgPhoto on 6-2-12 at 10.06 AM.jpgPhoto on 6-5-12 at 2.17 AM.jpgPhoto on 6-7-12 at 10.24 AM.jpg

DowntG: if you noticed in the owner's manual they often sell and recommend planting an assortment of herbs and spices with 7 completely different varieties. they put the taller faster growing in the back figuring you're going to harverst them more regularly to keep it all under control, but that's tricky with our favorite herb. You need a short indoor strain because the males spring up taller than the ladies and that makes it harder to keep the lights at the recommended height of 1 to 2 inches above the tops of your plants.

You'll have a much easier time if you plant two to three seeds of the same variety or female clones. A friend of mine grows Indica exclusively for his wife's pain relief and he usually has two to three small bushes planted in a triangle under the lights and he keeps them at pretty much the same height by pruning and training. It makes the light adjustment a lot easier. Something to think about when growing in a miniature system. I hope that helps. HSA
