Aero or Flood and drain?

So I have successfully grown DWC and flood and drain. I’m interested to know what people think about aero. I’m looking to maximize my yield in the little space I have and what to know what gets better results. I have never run aero, but I feel I can handle it. So RIU what would you recommend?

depends on how many times you have had a successful grow, how your grow room is set up, have you mastered a strain and their nutrients? there is no margin for error with Aero. It may sound nice and fun hearing the results an dhow easy it is bu th etruth is that Aero is probably the hardest way to grow if you dont know what you are doing.

I see aero as like owning a fancy italian sportscar...Finicky and you gotta know what your doing, a lot of upkeep and work put into it, but you get a top class machine...Where as I see DWC like a classic american muscle car...no fancy computer driven components, just raw power, a little bulky but easy to maintain, and also a top class ride!

i'll take my flood and drain (Jap Sports Cars) easy to make easy to run low maintenance and run trouble free forever :)

I have yet to dabble in flood and drain, but when I start a SoG thats the direction I'm headed, for sure...Right now I'm concentrating on a DWC bucket jungle

DWC is killer, but fuck its a lot of work man. im building a vert flooded tube DWC should be easier to maintain :)

Yeah, I wanna build a mini vert setup, using 3 ft rockwool slabs turned on end with a drip...like this...

Well, I'm still undecided, a flooded tube was an idea too, I dunno...Stadium NFT seems fun too...I would grow every method possible if I could...lol

i have a lot of methods going on right now lol, soil, ebb and flow, flooded tube, outdoor, greenhouse, drip in coco

Yeah, I have soil, DWC vegged 6 weeks, DWC 12/12 from seed, Micro-ScrOG all indoors, working with a perpetual throwing sets into flower every 3 weeks...Outdoor in 45 gallon smartpots and some directly in ground, ready to put the "carport" up when the rains threaten...

Flood and Drain SOG all the way m8. Best choice for maximizing yield.

Those aero flows are trouble makers as someone pointed out. The "lazer lines", as they're called, clog often...and the sprayers do as well. There is quite a bit a maintenance that needs to be done to keep them running right. Even then they are temperamental.

Now the AeroJet.. haven't run it and don't know anyone who has either. I believe the aerojet is truly an aeroponic system where as the Aero flow is more of a NFT system.

I'd stick with table too bud.
