I am starting my final flush tomorrow night and i will be using ro water with final phase. I am running the stinkbud system and am trying to figure out if i need to ph my ro water and final phase solution. do i ph the solution or just leave it. I am not quite sure what to do, my plan is to use final phase for a day or 2 and then switch to plain ro water. would i need to ph the regular ro water too? some people say to ph and some dont. i have read alot on both sides. it seems to make more sense not to ph because the plants wont take in nutes etc. can anyone give me any insight to help ease my mind on this? thank you. to ph or not to ph? and any other information you may want to share about flushing.

I've read the same about people saying you don't need to balance your final water.

But honestly how hard is it? In your stinkbud system it would use up such a little
amount of ph solution that it seems like such a trivial thing to not do.
If you were using hundreds of gallons of mix, I could see why it might be kind of
a hassle.

I understand that they probably don't see any benefits from it, but at least
if you do balance it there is 0 concern of whether or not the water is effecting
them negatively.

what i did when i flushed my system was throw ice water into the water. with fresh water ph level i really dont check at the end.. i flush for 2 weeks and the final 3 days i will flush with ice cold water and 3 days of darkness. then the day after i will harvest and bud is chemical free. and buds swell up a little from the shock of ice water.. and no sunlight.

thanks. I appreciate both of you responding to me. I still don't know what to do about. I mean my ro water has 0 ppm and the only nutes the plants could take in would have to be hiding somewhere in the grow chamber. I will go ahead with the flush today using phed final phase solution for a day or 2 and then flush with normal ro water "not sure if i will ph or not". for up to 7 days. I believe running aero and using final phase i dont need to flush so long because im not using a medium so i would think around 5 days would be good to rid all the chemicals but if my plants are still looking ok maybe i will go for 7 just to be safe. Also if anyone else has any opinion about phing your flush water please let me know.

Flushing is definitely important, I wouldn't go without.

I was curious if there was a lot of truth to the matter a while back and
finished out a few plants without flushing. The smoke definitely looked
good and got you really stoned. The taste is definitely MUCH harsher
and your bowls will be crackling a lot from burning off nutes in the bud
as well as I felt it gave me headaches.
