Ok i just started a batch of clones on the 20th. I cleaned the tank very good with bleach and let the pump run for a while then i did a couple flushes with pump running of straight water. I put it back up and take all cuttings and i put 2 teaspoon of thrive alive in tank and water ph'd at 5.9 temps 71f. It has had a foam on top of the water almost looks like a soap foam but i never used any soap on it. I am just wondering if its the thrive alive doing it? What do you guys think? O and also had to use some ph up in tank because i ph'd to low when i first started it up maybe thats what is causing it?

its normal.....let the clones do their thing!!! ure putting waayyy to much effort into this and chances are you will do more harm then good. i would dump the res and put straight tap water and no additives or ph and leave alone till you need to top off or see roots....then u ph water.
