Advise on # of plants

Hey guys heres the deal. I need help with a inside grow room set up for the lights. If you take into account I have all the space hydro set up and everything I would need besides the lighting how many watts should I be using in HPS for 35 plants to bud.


I am not talking just enough I am talking what would suggest to yield nice big fat yummy buds. I was thinking 1200 watts?

It all depends on the strain and the size of the plants. If you pack them in a sea of green you could potentially have around 100 plants under a single 600. I would be more concerned about square footage than plant numbers as 1 plant could potentially cover more area than your 35 plants.

With that said, 2 600s would be sweet no matter how many plants your gonna grow as long as they fit in the ideal square footage.

It is 35 plants each in 1 3 gallon 12 inch pot in a 50 foot by 50 foot room with a 7 foot cealing lined and sealed room with 49.5 feet x 49.5 x 6 feet of usable space inside.

4x1kw with 9 plants under each, or 6x600w with 6 plants under each, IMO.
