Will be buying a 4x4 tent to accomidate the 1kW ballast n bulb ill also be getting within the next cpl weeks.. I have a cooltube for my 400w mh I'm using for my mothers @ the moment but think it b best to leave that alone n just buy a new one of better quality and better coverage.. so aircooling is a must i have a 295 cfm for extraction and cooling the light.. if that turns out not to be sufficient ill upgrade fans. I need to know what reflectors will work the best in the tent as the primary/only light. Any and all input welcome. Thanks

Any wide spread hood such as a Raptor or an Ocho would be a good choice. The tents are great for reflection so I like to spread it out in a 4 square tent. your cool tube would work decent.

That fan is fine to clear 1 hood if the CFM rating is actually true. 80% of the fans on the market don't even pull half their CFM rating.

You can get ANY hood you want. Honestly. A 1000w light in a 4x4 tent is more then adequate (600w light would be plenty as well). You will have cooling issues and plant height restrictions. No need for any of the super sized hoods. You won't need to spread your light as your bulb will be doing plenty of that. I say any of the Sun System hood like the Yield Master or Cool Sun will be just fine.

hydrofarm radiant hood. i have a radiant and an extrasun 6. the radiant puts out visibly 10% more light and stays 50% cooler. worth the extra price in my opinion.

Thanks guys.. ill prolly go with the yield master II for a benji @ the hydro shop. Ill be following Al B. Fuct's 2 wk harvest-just on a smaller scale and a cpl tweaks. Starting from rooted clone in root riot plugs. 4 e@f trays (containig 6-5.5"x6" sq pots filled w/ hydroton), 2-18gal. rez's(Al uses 4). Orderin the tent soon:-)! Should I mount my light or hang it?? Max hgt is 6'5" I have well over 4' between ceiling and top of the pots.. if they triple in size over the 8wks they'll be about 18"-24" when finished which will leave me roughly 13-20". between canopy and the light.. depending on the depth of the reflector.. wish me luck :-)
