False! Your OK the dilution rate is so high it will not damage it, people have been using Neem for 30 years. The reasoning behind the comment is sound but you need one heck of a lot of oil to dissolve the tri's and than have them drip off the plant. Neem forms a protective coat on plants that is absorbed into the plant over a period of days so no bad here. Many people spray their plants every week as a tonic, plants love the stuff and you can't harm anything with it. Put some on your hands and work in, smooth and silky. Sold everywhere in India..
What week you in? 7? You only need to spray once and that will kill the aphids, nats just let the soil dry out.
Just as an aside I have a 100 to 400 digital microscope that I have had for 3 years and I have sprayed my plants one week from harvest and never saw any difference in the surface of the plant in any way other than some residue. I use it for a lot of things, looking at my soil, finding bugs, when the best time is to harvest. I also use a Brix meter to be sure.
