its currently on a balcony..
and wud just like to get opinions on how long i should flower, additional nutes to bulk them up a bit and weather to trim the leaves to get more sun at the bud?

thanks in advance

you've got quite awhile to go - six weeks or more. you can tell when to harvest either by the color of the hairs or by the color of the trichomes. best way is to get a $10 portable microscope (radio shack) and harvest when the trichomes are 1/3 to 1/2 amber colored. a simpler but less accurate way is to harvest when the white hairs have changed to 50% red/brown and have started to recede back into the bud.

Thank you :)
six weeks is good
the guy at the shop told me to get bio bloom aswell
wud you agree or is the topmax ok on its own?

haven't tried it but normally a nute with "bloom" in the title has high phosphorus (the p in n-p-k formula on the bag) and that is what you want for flowering.

kk, the top max stuff has 0.1% nitrogen same potasium
nd 0.01% phospherous probly makes sense to you but is it not awful small percentage ?,
i will invest in the bio bloom wen i get the funds

the only thing that matters is the ratio of ingredients. the absolute numbers don't matter because the maker takes that into account with their recommended feeding schedule.

thanks for that man, i just seen the nute thread, probs shuda posted in there have you ever grown thai before?
ive smoked it on many ocasions but it always had seeds in it..fingers crossed none on mine :)

Tought id just update this with some recent pics, it has been 4 weeks since last pics and i cant see much of a change in girth of the buds etc.. there is lots of visable resin production, on the small plant the buds are very string like and have no density on the big plant the two main colas are thriving altho at the top they get very stringy and have no density also on the bigger plant i am starting to get side branches forming 'fatter' buds then the small plant ..shud i axe the smaller one and give the big one space. ?

any feed back on the progress wud be appretiated

first two pics are of the small, bushy plant
and last two are of the two main colas of the tall plant:weed:
