Hey guys, progress after 2 weeks, I notice the stems are beginning to look quite thin and long, is this normal? thanks

when u transplant (next week) look at this thread before!

Look great. Get the light closer if you can and they wont stretch much.

thanks for the replies guys. they're currently planted in 6inch pots, and was also wondering what size pot should I be looking to
transplant them in next week? Thanks

They look normal but a bit stretched, you should have a small oscilating fan blowing on them to strengthen the stems.

I use 3 gallon pots which do nicely. Not to small, and you can fit a lot of them toghter.

They are a long way from needing transplant, just add 1" or more of your potting soil and bury some stem.

spot on also if they not autos wait a few more weeks an then you can strengthen the stem but gently sliding the stem of the plants between your middle fingers, an giving it a gentle shake from left to right. it does sound a little daft. but i have seen it DOES tough up that stem if dont gentle enough an often enough. well i got cracking results with a little stem shake during my twin auto NL indoor grows.

I picked up the stem shake tip off off a little known breeder/RIU mod/WeedNerd Host named Subvcool, an that dude knows its shit when it comes to weed!

I agree with both the 3 gallon pot comment and the not ready to transplant comment. (Well, actually, I agree with the post about burying those stretched plants, putting the light closer and the one about the fan too)

Give them another week to two weeks and they'll be prime for transplant.

appreciate the feedback guys, I've also just noticed that the leaves have started to curl on one of the plants, an that the recently sprouted one has a slight yellowing of the leaves. can anyone recommend a quick method to help prevent this? Thanks in advance

cute baby pics there london grower. ive never worried about them mini leafs curling as its them more good looking xmasish shaped leafs which need to be nice an healthy. an judging by them pics, you have no worries on your hands right now so relax.

They look fine. The nodal distance is the thing the monitor. If they're close together then don't worry if they're a bit tall and stretchy. As is alluded to earlier in the thread, simply fill over the stretchy seedling stem with soil when you repot her.
