Hi All,

I planted my seed on Nov 9th and now its Dec 10th, when should I go onto flowering mode? The plant is currently about 15 inches tall with a lot of leaves that seem to be turning yellow or just drooping down. Should I cut them off?

I think I should be going into the flowering stage but not sure if it should be right now... Please let me know! Im not aiming for big yields but just hope the plant doesn't grow beyond the size of my cabinet. As well, I wanna clone a few stems but not sure when i should do this. During Vegetation stage or during Flowering stage?

My lights are currently at 24 hours running 220 watts CFL for one plant.

Thanks!

Doug

Looks like you are about ready for flower. Usually from seed I wait until the branching becomes asymmetrical. The lower leaves are dropping because they are not getting light anymore. Yes remove them. I like to take cuts before I start flower. With you smaller plant though, taking a cutting 7 days after 12/12 has started might be easier. The internodes will have stretched giving you a slightly taller clone.

Thanks all for the quick replies and advice!

As for cutting the drooping stems and leaves, is there a specific way to do it? should I cut it clean or leave a little 'branch'?

As well, scissors or 'Xato' blade to cut? 45 degree angle? sorry for being so specific but only because I dont wanna mess things up. Thanks all!
