Hey just wondering what you guys think?? Do my plants look OK? Just put them in my new room yesterday under 1000w DE mh bulb.. I'm new to indoor.. I started the plants in a grow box I built with t5 lighting.. I'm just looking for confirmation everything looks good?? Leaves seem to be drooping a bit and a bit of discoloration on a few.. any comments appreciated. Thanks.20180127_163720.jpg 20180127_163745.jpg

It looks like u tried to top the plant????Looking at your plants the light looks too far that’s whats causing the stretch... Other than that they look good .. What type of nutrients are u using and what kind of soil

Thanks for the reply.. I have since moved the light down.. I was worried it would burn the plants. The soil is prone mix hp and coco mixed.. I have general hydro trio.. I just gave them thee first full feed of nutrients yesterday also just put them under this light yesterday. They were under t5 till now.

I now have light 3 feet from top of plants.. Any experience with double ended lights?
That looks like a cmh light isn’t it??? But no buddy I don’t I have a normal 600 watt hps/mag light...3 ft should be good I keep mine 2-3ft also trying to get them to stretch a little bit..If u notice the edges of your leaves starting to curl up on the edges they are to close pick them up but u can always do the hand test to see if it’s to close

I like to FIM also, they seem to take off faster than topping but i think both methods work well. I wouldnt transplant yet, let them go for a few weeks, get the roots nice and strong

I would say wait a few more weeks Atleast 2 weeks, unless u start seeing them everywhere that’s a nice light I’m guessing that will only work if u are in a basement or something like that, Since u can’t hook up a inline fan with it for heat if growing in a tent....Are u gonna go to a 3 gal or a 5 gal also what do u plan to finish in????

Was planning on 5 gal to be the last pot I will use.. can I go right from 1 gal to 5 gal?? Or go to a 3 gal first?? Like I said I am usually growing under the sun... so this whole light thing is new to me.. decided to go with the DE because I got a good deal on it... I'm in a 10x12 room with 8' ceiling and I think this light has the entire room ready to grow.. it's a beast...

I bet it should stay pretty descent in there in summer u might need some a.c in there LOL ....In a fabric pot 5 should be good u have enough head room for it like myself I’m in a 72” tall tent 3 gal should be enough for me but I have 5 gal just to be on the safe side....u can go straight to the 5 gal imo just make sure not to overwater but from the looks of it u know how to grow...:bigjoint:

Just start topping and tieing them down unless u can make a veg room and a flower room .. Mine are a week and a half a head of the others so I’m making a manifold with my first one that way the little ones can catch up

The type of droop in your first pics im certain is because you very recently watered. And dude that light needs to come down...way down. Get them as close as they like, and you can maintain would be my advice. MH doesnt seem to affect my girls as much as HPS does distance wise. Its a little crammed in the one pic had to harbor my homies girls for a home inspection but you get the jist of it

I cut my clones right before I switch to flower. That gives me a couple of months to get them stable, step up through my pot sizes, and be ready to hit dirt the day my current grow gets cut. I would like to have another small rig, but my current 2x1000w hps has my condo in an armbar over power. I had to buy a cheapo 45w led for cloning and the few weeks till they move to my main room. It hasnt let me down yet.

I can't wait that long, I want to cut some soon to use them to veg.. should I wait till there a couple feet tall at least? If I cut to soon will just slow them down from growing??
