Hi there,
my og kush is starting week 6 flowering..healthy, happy and pistils are starting to go brown. If the pistils on one bud are 80% brown while others are still, say, 30% brown, can I cut the bud that is 80% or should I wait until they have all turned? Thanks in advance..

Yes alot of people do just that, take a bud here and there that looks done and let the rest go a week or so. In your case wait..you still have 3 weeks to go and trust me they will get bigger. Patience bro.

You don't go by pistils to see if they are done. Check the trichomes with a microscope to see

A lot of people will give you odd info on this site....
White hairs turning brown is just a stage of your plants life, and it is not the final stage...
So, patience, and wait for the hairs to recede... that is when buds swell....
This starts the final stage... Trics start to turn amber [I like to call it tea colored] then it's time...
When you see the fewest 'clear trics'.... plant is ready... plant makes clear trics until the day you chop...
Amber trics are milky ones [milky is what you want] that have degraded....
Degraded= less THC = and THC is what you want to get high....
Again... Good Luck!
